Normani threw her bag somewhere in the room, and did the same with herself onto the bed.

Dinah peeled off her coat and huffed as she sat on the bed next to Mani. "Home at last."

"We've been home basically all day. We just weren't inside." Normani said, her words muffled by the bed comforter.

Dinah nodded and got up to finish removing her clothing. "I'm so tired." She huffed out again. Normani mumbled something in agreement and followed her girlfirend's actions and removed her clothing as well.

Once they were both finsihed, they climbed into bed, too tired for showers, and closed their eyes. They said their good nights and were engulfed in deep slumber.

Normani sat up on the bed after laying awake there for about ten minutes, and stretched out her arms. She got up from the bed completely and stretched out the rest of her body.

Then she noticed that she was in the bed alone.

She furrowed eyebrows, but went to the bathroom to take a shower nonetheless.
After she was finished, she walked into the kitchen-hoping that Dinah was in there, and to make herself some coffee.

Normani entered the kitchen and found no Dinah, but she found that there was already a fresh pot of coffee made. She poured herself a cup and put all of the creamer and sugars she needed to wake her up, and walked over to the dining room so she could sit at the table.

She stopped herself when she saw Dinah in the living room watching tv. Normani wondered why she didn't hear the tv though.

She furrowed her eyebrows and walked over to her girlfriend and sat down next to her. She waited a few seconds before she spoke to her.

"Goodmorning." Normani said quietly.

Dinah didn't look over at her, but she still greeted the woman back. Normani pursed her lips because she was feeling a little nervous to continue talking to Dinah. Or to try and get her to talk anyways.

"Are you feeling okay?" Normani asked, putting her cup on the table-suddenly not in the mood for it right now. "I was about to make breakfast, but if you're feeling sick I can make you soup?" The older woman tried.

Dinah shook her head, still not looking at Normani. "No thanks. I don't have the appetite for anything."

"Okay." Normani said. She sat back on the couch and stared at the tv that was on mute. She wondered why it was on mute in the first place and why Dinah was staring at it like she was watching her favorite tv show. "Are you alright Dinah? You looked exhausted."

Dinah didn't nod or shake her head, her whole body was still except for her blinking. This behavior answered Normani's question and she sighed through her nose.

She had to be careful with trying to figure out what's wrong with her girlfriend because she didn't want her to snap. It's happened before, but that was so long ago and she's not sure if Dinah has grown out of that or not.

"Why is the tv on mute?" Normani asked.

"I couldn't hear myself think." Dinah answered, finally turning her head and letting her eyes connect with Normani's. "Too much noise." Dinah said.

This was a silent telling to Normani that Dinah didn't wanna be bothered with anymore questions.

So Normani left it alone and sat back, but moved closer to her girlfriend for comfort. Needed for both sides.
