People who "Kill Themselves"

Guess who's back?

Yeah, we're bringing up a more recent topic, and a little more close-to-home one.

Ladies and Gentlemen, people who claim they're committing suicide via internet.

Okay, let me ask one thing. Why announce that to the public? Better yet, why announce it on the internet? What if a police officer saw that, what would they say? They'd be a bit ticked off, I know that. Look, if you plan on killing yourself, you tell your fucking family first. Not the random as fuck people you meet online. They're faceless, nameless people that don't need to know. If you say you're actually killing yourself, there is a 90 or 95% chance you're lying, due to the fact that suicide is A) Not taken lightly and B) Not supposed to be publicly shown. It shows that you're seeking attention most of the time, and just want to see people begging you to stay.

Yes, something like this happened to Psych recently. A friend - who will remain unnamed due to the internet being serious business - recently claimed they were going to kill themselves. And not only that, but they partially blamed Psych for it. THEY PARTLY BLAMED PSYCH FOR MAKING THEM KILL THEMSELF. Do you know why? Because she wasn't talking to them all the time.

Psych can't PM, I'll make that clear. It's to much for her to handle, and if she PMs too much then she gets stressed out. You wanna talk to her? Comments, Message Board, Thread, but not PM.

Oh, and one more thing, when people told her that it was a lie? When THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE said they were lying? She still didn't care. She's still dead inside. She still feels like crying, only she doesn't. She had an anxiety attack that night, and she cried herself to sleep. With both her grandmother and her mother comforting her.

It kinda broke the kid, but she's grown over it. She still misses [insert name here], she still regrets everything. She's just debating whether or not they died.

Okay, back to the ranting. You see, this is what some of them seek. Some of them want the people reading to just suffer, to put themselves in an abyss of sadness and despair. And they succeed. Even if they end up not killing themselves, they still see the people suffer. And that's exactly why it happened in the first place.

And then there's one more situation that sort of relates to it. When they claim that "An IRL friend did it" or something. I can believe it most of the time, but sometimes it's ridiculous. I remember an old pal - she's not here anymore - who did stuff like this.

"Oh my god, she's got me again. She's gonna kill me."

For long-time followers, you probably know who I'm referring to. But still. When they're having it occur the moment they're posting it, yeah that's pretty unbelievable.

Chaos, out.
