Natsu, Lucy and Happy made their way to Lucy's house. Lucy trailed on the edge, extending her arms for support.
"Careful, Lucy!" Two boatmen called out to her whilst the sailed past. But she ignored them as they got to her home.
"Here we are." She said and pushed her key into the keyhole of the house and swung open the door. Lucy then turned to Natsu and smiled.
"Thanks for walking me home. Natsu. You can go home now." She politely dismissed him, but he grinned and walked into the house.
"Uh, Natsu." She growled and watched him sit down on the carpet.
"Oh c'mon Lucy, we're a team. We should stick together." He smiled and that made Lucy glow a light shade of pink and she smiled back.
"Yeah, okay." She whined and walked into the bathroom. "I'm going to take a shower, Natsu, DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING." She confirmed and smiled afterwards.
He nodded and once she closed the door, he slumped back into the bed. Happy sat next to him.
"Whats wrong, Natsu?" The cat asked with a concerned look for his friend.
"Nothing... It's just... I need to tell Lucy something..." He replied and Happy smirked.
"Over Lisanna, huh?" He questioned and Natsu shrugged.
"I think so." Natsu smiled back, and looked around at Lucy's room. He noticed a pile of papers they read:
Dear Mom,
Today was great. Natsu, Happy and me went on another adventure together. It's so fun being with them. Especially Natsu. I wanted to tell him how I felt on that trip but it just didn't come out. I hope he feels the same. I know that you always said that love is something that comes naturally, but... I think I actually like him. Wherever you are, Mom, I hope you're looking down at me.
Your daughter, Lucy Heartfillia
Natsu could feel his cheeks warm up and he smiled. "Me too, Lucy..." He whispered and suddenly Lucy came out of the bathroom with a towel around her body. Natsu quickly hid the paper and leaped onto the bed.
"Um... Natsu?"
"Yeah?" He replied quickly.
"Nevermind." She said and walked to her desk, hopefully not notcing the moved papers. "A-Are you blushing, Natsu?" Lucy smirked at him.
"N-NO! Why would you say that!?" He squealed, looking away. And Lucy laughed and sat next to him. But this just made him blush even more.
"What? You're all nervous now." Lucy said.
"What, no..." He replied nervously.
"You're so cute when you're shy!" Lucy paused and blushed a deep red. "I mean, not cute." She added quickly.
"Right." Natsu smirked. He got up, taking the letter with him. "See ya later!"
