The moment Tabitha took a step into the castle, a gust of warm welcoming wind hugged her in. The boy himself grabbed a towel and started to slowly dry her off. Then she was in the throne room. The towering pillars reaching out to the roof. A purple carpet stretched out to the low podium where three thrones sat. In the two bigger ones, Sat a king with a purple velvet cape and in the other, sat a blonde haired woman with a crown as well.

"Darling! Look how wet she is. Austin, good job. Keep it up." the woman smiled toward Tabitha. "It must have been very stormy out there."

"Austin, did you introduce yourself?" The man asked.

The boy ruffled his caramel hair and bowed. "Austin. Prince of Farenwood. Greetings."

Tabitha bit her lip. But then did a curtsy, she felt her finger glow with a tingle at the tips. She covered it with her dress folds. "Tabitha. Princess of The Blue Forest."

Tabitha made the best possible alibi, even though she had no idea what the Blue Forest even was.

"See, mom? She's a princess!" Austin turned toward his mom.

The queen straightened her back and got up onto her two feet and advanced toward
Tabitha. "You must be very sleepy. I'll ask my servants to prepare your bed."

The queen clapped twice and five women in maid uniforms came rushing toward her. The queen pointed to a room. She made four fives on her hand and seemed to pinch air. And the maids headed toward the room that she pointed to.

"Please excuse my mom." Austin held Tabitha's hand. "And may I say, you have wonderful blonde hair."

Blonde hair?

Tabitha touched her lock of hair. Her hair streamed through her fingers. And she was blonde. She must have looked really astonished because Austin grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes. "Hey, are you okay?"

"Y-yes. I'm perfectly fine." Tabitha nodded.

"Ma'am, your bed is ready." a maid came up to me and curtseyed.

When Tabitha saw her bed, she couldn't believe how tall it was. She counted each mattress individually. Tabitha counted twenty in total. Twenty. Tabitha Couldn't quite think, but something in the back of her mind told her that she knew where this was headed. The pink pastel walls wanted to make her barf. Black would've been more appropriate but if she wanted to stay, she would have to deal with it.

"How is it?" Austin asked as he stepped into the room.

Tabitha fluttered her eyelashes. "Wonderful, dear."

Austin blushed but turned around. "Well, goodnight."

And he left the room, closing the door behind him.

"Okay, great." Tabitha mused. "How in the world am I supposed to get up there?" She gazed up at the tower of beds. She walked around the bedposts, touching each one as she passed them.

Suddenly, her eyes drifted to the birch bed table. A small glass plate has been left there. She ran up to it. There were tiny green objects on the china plate. When she got closer, she realized that they were,

"Peas?" Tabitha picked up a single pea and popped it into her mouth and a satisfying burst of flavor exploded into her mouth. "Why is there a... oh. Oh no."

Mattresses. Storm. A pea.

Tabitha backed away from the plate. "I messed up. So badly."
