Letter 15

Dear Yoongi,

So I finally got over myself and sat with you today.

When I first walked towards you, your head was down so you weren't paying attention. I was debating on whether to sit next to you or across from you. I finally decided on sitting next to you. I made my way around the table and sat right beside you. We were so close that our shoulders and sides were almost brushing. Your head snapped over to me.

I smiled.

You took a couple seconds but eventually you smiled back.

After a couple more seconds I awkwardly tore my gaze away from you and to my lunch. I had a sandwich and some Salt and Vinegar chips. I looked over in front of you and saw that you had nothing.

I opened the bag of chips and sat it in front of you. (Without stuttering might I add) I told you that you could have as much as you want. You glared them down for a while before muttering a small thank you and reaching in to pull one out. I took a bite of my sandwich and watched as you slowly finished the whole bag.

Along the way Namjoon and Jin showed up. They, as they said they would, introduced themselves to you and you did the same back. They sat across from us and we had all ate lunch together, mainly those two doing all the talking with us pitching in a sentence here and there.

When the bell rung you stood and once again thanked me for the food. I simply smiled and told you that you didn't have to thank me.

I swear I saw you turn a light shade of pink.

But what I learned from this is that I am going to have to eat lunch with you more often.
