Letter 51

Dear Yoongi,

You were the one to break the silence between us.

I was at my locker when you came up and wrapped your arms around my waist. You put your head between my shoulder blades and squeezed me tightly against you.

"I'm sorry for whatever I did that made you mad. But please Jungkookie, you can't just stop talking to me. I need you." I spun around and wrapped my arms around you.

"Min Yoongi, I am not mad at you." You pulled away and looked up at me. You looked skinnier than you did before and there were bruises scattered around your skin.

"Then why are you avoiding me?" I pulled away and shut my locker door.

"Because you are happy without me. You have a great support group and it is obvious Hoseok likes you. I didn't want to get in the way of you two." You had started shaking your head aggressively at me.

"Jeon Jungkook, don't you fucking dare!" After that every word you said, you didn't say, you screamed it.

"You can't just go and get me attached to you and then fucking leave! Don't you say that I am happier without you because you never see me when you are not around! I will fucking sit and cry until I get to see you again! I will let the pain of this damn cancer overtake me until I have thoughts of just flat out killing myself so I don't have to feel it anymore! I will starve myself because I don't care anymore! Hoseok means shit to me compared to you! I know he likes me but him and I talked it out and he understands that I am in love with you!" I was shocked by how loud you had been and by the fact that you just let it all out in the hallway at school. You wiped underneath of your eyes and stepped away from me.

"I am so in love with you so don't you dare fucking say that I am happier without you. You have given me a reason to keep living." After saying that you had broke down in tears. I stepped over and pulled you into my arms. All you did was mutter 'I love you' over and over to me.

I waited until you had calmed down and pulled away from me to say it back.
