Letter 21

Dear Yoongi,

I went back to school today and immediately started looking for you. I found you at your locker, seeming to be looking for something. I tapped your shoulder, much like you did to me a couple weeks ago. You spun around and had just about the same reaction as well.

No I guess that is a lie. Because I was a stuttering mess when you did it to me but when I do it to you, you wrap your arms around my neck and pulled me into a tight hug. I was surprised to say the least but I wove my arms around you and held you just as close. I heard quiet sniffling noises coming from you and tried to ignore them the best I could as I rubbed your back.

When you were finally okay enough to pull away and wipe the tears away you gave me a stern look.

"Please never scare me like that again. I truly thought something bad had happened to you." In that moment I noticed the discoloration around your jaw.

"Okay. I promise I won't go anywhere." You smiled and pulled me in for another quick hug.

"Good."

Later that day, you ate my bag of chips and half my sandwich.
