A/n - the part in the previous chapter with Jordan calling Knox a fruitcake. - I can't stand fruitcake and my vocabulary is, let's just say 'different'. I use different words as swear words and words of distaste. Fruitcake, fuck-nugget, mother of fruitcake. Etc. It's just the way I am and I just think it makes things more interesting than just normal swear words and remarks.
Going to give a go with Knox's POV, so most of this chapter will be in his point of view. it will also start in the previous chapter where he's face to face with Jordan.
-recap-
Jordan just found out that her hacker friend 'Knox' is part of the reason she was kidnapped and whisked away to London.
'The Virgin Jordan'
What the fuck?
I open the file and am immediately bombarded with document files, similar to the one I found on the plane as well as photos of message chats. between myself and Knox?!
"nice to finally meet in person VJ" I hear a voice behind me. I freeze on the spot. I slowly turn around and make.
"Knox?" I ask quietly, still attempting to come to terms with everything. he nods at me. I felt a rising darkness in me. He was one of the only people I truly trusted, even though he didn't personally know me. He knew Virgin Jordan, the hacker who did everything to reveal the truth to those who needed to know it. and he used it for his own needs. I walked backwards to where I sat before and picked up a lamp from the bedside table and threw it at him. he ducks down and it misses him.
Jace stops Jordan from punching Knox any more and throws her over his shoulder and takes her down stairs and sits her and hand cuffs her to her chair.
And now they're all going to attempt to have a civilised dinner.
-which to be honest, isn't the most normal thing, if you were kidnapped and flown to London. -
-Current-
Knox Martin POV
As I walked into my room I heard her cuss my name. "Son of a bitch Knox." she says out loud, I can hear the distaste in her voice.
What was I suppose to do? Go against my orders? Our friendship was important to me but so was work, and these people don't take kindly to someone saying 'no' to them.
"Nice to finally meet you in person VJ" I say calmly. I'm expecting her to go crazy. It is a pretty big betrayal and I'd understand If she did. Hell, I'm pretty sure id do it to if I was in her position.
"Knox?" I hear her whisper, I can hear the hurt in her voice. I nod slowly and then see her face change.
Prepare yourself...
She slowly started walking backwards, I can see how hurt she is. I can see the anger in her eyes, the betrayal she feels. She picked up the lamp that rested on my bedside table and threw it towards me, I duck and it goes past me.
Yeah. I deserve that.
"You son of a Bitch! I trusted you!" She yells at me.
Yeah I deserve that too...
"hey, calm down..." I unconsciously say, rather patronisingly. Not on purpose though.
She picks up the alarm clock and throws it.
"For fuck sake, I thought you were my friend!" she yells and I duck again.
That one hurt more than what I can assume being hit in the face with a lamp feels like.
