A/n well that was a plot twist! I really enjoyed writing the previous chapter, nearly over 4,000 words. this one however isn't going to be as long. sorry.
Jordan Maston POV
Are there people from your past that made your blood run cold?
people who were there for you, only when they wanted to be.
and these people are the reason you are the way you are.
while much, if not most of my young life has been overcome by the bad things that life throws at us. there isn't much that I would change.
However, not meeting Shadow, would probably be one of the only things I would change.
Shadow, was my hacking mentor. he made me who I am today, but he was also an Asshole. like majority of the people I know. Yes that is a very pessimistic view in the world, but my Life has sucked majoyly. And most of it is probably at the hands of Shadow. I don't remember exactly when I met him, I think I was like 8-9 years old. He was actually my teacher. Prior to this, my parents homeschooled me, my therapist suggested that it would help me reintegrate to a 'normal' life. Oh how funny right? After my parents adopted me and we lived together for something like two years, they decided that I should go to an actual school and make friends and all that stupid stuff. I was put up a few years levels because I was 'so smart' and let's just say, a girl who is like two years younger than you, is in your year level, it can ruffle a few feathers. Okay, a lot of feathers. The chicken would be bald. So you know, the usual assholes, doing swirlies, or sticking their foot out for me to trip on, all the usual bullying. So out of spite, I hacked into the schools grading system and changed their grades and they failed. It was also the first time-maybe the only time- I got caught. And the person who caught me was Shadow. He was a teacher at the school, he would have been in his late twenties, early thirties. He had dark brown hair and somewhat grey looking eyes. The only problem I had with getting caught, was that my parents would find out. They did, but the didn't find out that my teacher who caught me, saw my potential and helped me get better.
-Flashback-
'Stupid kid'
'smart ass'
'teachers pet'
this words and names kept in running through my head. They all hate me so much. and the only thing I've done to them was exist near them. and I didn't even think that that was a crime. I've had enough. it was lunch outside and I was sitting in the library on one of their desktops. I login and then get to work by looking at their grades. they were all average. let's make them below average shall we? I cracked the security code to get into the system to change their grades. turning C's to D's and A's to D's, and even some D's to E's. have to make it believable right?
"*Cough* *Cough*" I hear someone behind me. oh Crap. I spin around in my chair and my eyes meet two grey ones.
"Might I ask what you are doing Miss Maston?" he asks.
"Playing Games?" I state more as a question, my voice laced with uncertainty.
"it looks like you've hacked into the school's grading system." he states.
"really? umm Oops?..." I attempt to faze innocence and surprise.
"Jordan." he says sternly.
"okay, okay, call my parents. I don't care anymore." I say lowly.
"has the bullying gotten worse?"
