A/n Honestly, this chapter is just a filler, and I think its terribly written. it is filled with sarcasm, weird memories and a lot of childhood songs (including Shrek) I apologise. don't forget to vote/ comment. and please let me know what you think!! this chapter will have a part in one of Jordan's parents' POVs. this chapter also has some songs in it, you don't have to listen to them but if you don't know them, you could, because they are awesome. this chapter also has explicit song lyrics in it. "I suggest you eat something, before I get someone to shove it down your throat" I look at Elizer, and glare at him for his remark.

"No." I retort

"Eat."

"No."

"Eat it"

"No thanks." I smile

Jordan has an outburst at the dining table. Eli gets very angry and attempts to get her to eat. she refuses and then he makes Belle take her upstairs. they talk about how Jordan has made it her mission to make their lives a living hell. and Belle tells her about Knox and how they their friendship was more important to him but they threatened his family.

"Knox didn't want to do this to you." she says.

"w-what?" I ask confused.

"Knox has been with the agency for a year. He didn't want to do this, but after his parents' death, they threatened him by using his sister as collateral. So he joined and has been hacking for them ever since. it was only about three months ago that the boss wanted him to find you. Firstly he refused then they beat him for it. as well as threatened his sister so he's comply. He hated every moment of it. There were times he was going to warn you, but they caught on. He cares for you Jordan. He really does, even though you only just met in person.

Knox walks in. holding a plate of blueberry pancakes.

Stupid stomach, I'm attempting to protest and you want to imitate Dory's whale talk from Finding Nemo.

"look, I know you don't want to talk to me, but you need to eat something." he says lowly.

He walks towards the bed and places the plate of pancakes in front of me and starts walking towards the door.

"Knox wait" I say. He turns around to face me.

"Belle told me. I'm so sorry"

"You have nothing to be sorry for. I'm the one who's sorry. i should have fought harder. You didn't deserve any of this. its my fault you're here. but they threatened my sister and-" he rambled.

"Knox you don't have to-"

"yes i do. i've lost you and I hadn't even met you in person. I understand that I'm a horrible person. for months I've been trying to find out but still don't know what Kane wants from you, but if he hurts you in any way i will kill him!"

i smile as he threaten's his mysterious boss. Kane

"i guess you're on guard duty now right? don't suppose you have two forks with you for these pancakes?" i ask arching an eyebrow. I can't stay angry at him, hell, Belle said he got beatings because he didn't want to do it, and her and Seth seem to be the only ones that wouldn't lie to me, probably only because I kissed them but each to their own right?
