Chapter Three: Accepting

Your POV

Kaname and I walk in school hand in hand. I look over and see Kaname's cheeks flush a bright pink. I look down as a knot in my stomach begins to grow. Kaname gasped, "Morning, Hikari."

Hikari ignored. His smile soon turned in to a frown. I grip his hand tighter. "It's okay come on."I pull him in the clasroom. It seemed as if everyone gave us the cold shoulder. Including Chisaki, Tsumgu and Monica.

We ended up spending lunch by our selfs. I felt guilty having Kaname all to myself. That guilt led me to think if it's even worth it anymore. "Kaname, is it even worth it?"I asked looking over.

"What do you mean, Y/n?"He asked. I breath, "Is it even worth being together if we're not accepted?"I ask with a serious face. He just stared at me. A cold glare for longer then a second.
"Y/n, what makes you think that? To me it's worth it. It takes time to accept things like this."He places his hand on top of mine.

My body stiffness. "K- Kan-"
"I like you. I liked you for the longest time."He looks into my eyes. "Y- You've only been hear six months."I stutter.

"Thoese six months helped me to get to know you and fall for you more."He says seriously.
"B- But what about, Chisaki?"I bring up. "I gave up my feelings for her a while ago."He sits back and looks into the sky.

Silence.

"Are you sure?"I ask pleading placing both of my hands on his shoulder. Kaname nods, "I'm positive N/n. It doesn't matter anymore. It doesn't matter if they don't accept us actually."He sighs.

I fiddled with my fingers. "I- Isaki, I'd like you to meet my parents after school."I gulp. There was no reply. I called him by his first name. Shit. Way to go Y/n!

"S- Sure I don't mind! It will be exciting and nerve-racking. I don't care, yet neither do they."He scratches his neck. I smile giggling, "Your cute when your nervous."Instantly I cover my mouth, "Crap did I say that out loud?"

Kaname nods removing my
hands, "Yes but it's cute when you realize you make a mistake!"He laughs. We end up laughing together. With out a doubt the bell run. Isaki sighs getting up, "We should get to class."He offers his hand.

I smile talking it. "H- Hey, it's okay if I call you by your first name right?"I tilt my head asking for permission. He lets go of my hand and puts his hand on his chin thinking. "Hmm... I don't know- Yes! Of corse, babe!"He exclaims.

"Yay! But don't call me 'babe' call me N/n! I hate babe it's over used and sounds plain."I roll my eyes. Isaki chuckles taking my hand again. "Yeah true, okay, N/n-san."He giggles a bit.

I shake my head smiling, "What are you laughing about?"

"How cute you are and why I'm so lucky that I found you and love."He shoved me a bit. I felt my face heat up. "I- Isaki..."
"Isaki, what?"He tilted his head.
"S- Stop making me-"
"Making you what?"He teases.
"Making me- blush!"I look away hiding it.

He bursts out laughing bringing me closer, "This is why I love you your so cute."

"More like disgusting."What do you know. It was Hikari. "H- Hikari."Kaname stutters.

Silence again.

"You like, Monica."I acadently bring up making me gasp. "So!"He backfired. "Hey you guys! Don't start a argument!"Isaki eyes me. I let go crossing my arms pouting.
"Liking, Monica is different!"
"Well liking, Isaki is different too! Also difficult since it's hard for people to accept!"A tear streams down my cheek.

Hikari gasped quietly, "Y- Y/n, are you-"

"For get it!"I start running away from both of them. For get all of this! "Y/n!"Isaki called. At this point I don't care. I keep running.

I look back. Oh no! Isaki and Hikari are chasing me! I turn to my view and keep running through the forest near our school. I don't care about class. I just want to go home!

Only i'm running the wrong way!

I think I might of tripped on a branch. That made me fall. I hit my head and crashed in a pile of leaves? I hear it crackling. And I feel something scrambling on my skin.

"Y/n!!"I think I hear Kaname. My eyes flutter open seeing the two boys bend down. There eyes widen. Isaki gasps along with Hikari. "W- What is it?"I ask curiously as my vision starts to clear.

Isaki grabs my arm, "O- Oh my god, Hikari. Oh my god. What the hell do we do?"Kaname looks at him with a terrifyed expression.

What's going on? What is he talking about? "Y/n, Monica fell right hear a while back. She lost most of her ena hear. I think you picked it up."Hikari explains.

I shake my head, "No, no, no! I couldn't of!!"I scan my skin. It started sparkling. My eyes widen. "K- Kaname, what do we do?"I say in a shaky voice. "I don't know, Y/n. I have no idea."

"I- I'm scared, Kaname! I don't want to go back to school!"I fall in his arms. Tears start steaming down my cheek. "I- I feel it launching my skin! It hurts!"I cry.

Kaname tries to calm be down by soothing my back. "Shh... it's okay. You'll be fine."

"You think she can breath under water now?"I hear Hikari ask.
Kaname's body stiffened, "Are you kidding me? That's what you care about now?!"He shouts, "How dare you while your seeing her in pain, Hikari!"Kaname holds me tighter.

Hikari just came and hugged both of us, "I'm sorry! I'm sorry for ignoring you guys and I'm sorry for what just happened!"He cries.

I try to push them both away. I look up into Kaname's eyes. He
gasped, "Your eyes! There blue like the sea!"

"No way! Let me see?"Hikari turns me around. He gasped, "Oh my god. It's true. We should take her to the sea village."He states.

And with that we're about to leap into the ocean. "Lets go!"Hikari just jumps in.

I hold my hand on my chest. Kaname grabbed my hand. He smiles softly, "I'll be there with you. We can jump together!"He exclaimed making me giggle. I nod as we both leaped in the water. That's when, my life changed forever.
