Chapter Thirty: And Then, In Love

                             One Week Later

Hikari's POV

It's been a week since Monica left the hospital in good health. Everything back to normal and settled down. Y/n worked out with her mom a deal so she can still be with Kaname. There happier than ever. Maybe even happier than before. There's less drama. I haven't had a major outburst yet since the hospital.

Monica, however, is still happy and cheerful. We weven hold hands in the halls now. Everything is great. Chisaki and Tsumugu are acting weird around each other. I wonder what's that all about. I think I might have a idea though. I lost my feelings for Y/n finally. We're still closer as friends than ever. Though it's almost as if Chisaki is jealous of me holding hands with Monica. I still don't understand why. It's all so weird.

I walk in the school and take off my shoes.
"Oh, hey Hikari! Good morning."I turn to see Y/n smiling. I smile back, "Oh hey, morning too."I put on my school shoes. "Where's, Kaname and the others?"I get up and rub my neck. "Aren't they already inside?"I ask. She shook her head, "No."

"Hey guys!"Monica cheered from behind me.
"Hey, Monica!"Y/n cheered giggling.
"We went to Syanart and got some snacks."Chisaki shows a plastic back. "I got our favorite."Kaname smiles taking out the back. Salty jellyfish.
"Those are disgusting!"I say in disgust.
"You Just haven't tried them yet."Kaname puts his hand on his hip. I roll my eyes, "Salty stuff is disgusting."

"Yeah, I agree with, Hikari."Chisaki agreed with me. Huh? That's new. "Well just Kaname and I can share them at lunch."Y/n folds her hands.
"Maybe I'll like it! I haven't tried those yet."Monica walk up swiftly to Y/n and Kaname.
He smiles, "Sure!"
"If you don't like it you can always spit it out."Y/n chuckled.

Ding dong!!

"We're late!"Y/n says in horror. "Relax we've got four minutes to walk to class." I put my hands behind my head. Geese I swear sometimes Y/n panics over stupid things. I chuckle. "What's so funny, Hiki?"Monica walks up next to me.
"Y/n!"I snicker. "Hey!"She back fires turning around. I just burst out laughing as we enter the classroom. "What's so funny about Y/n, Hikari?"Chisaki asked.

"The fact that she gets worked up on little things."I smirk. She pouts. "Well I think it's cute."Kaname protects her. I just roll my eyes.

This, is being friends. I love it and hope nothing changes.
