Chapter Eight: Metting the Parents (part: 2)

Your POV

And so, all of their mouths dropped. Well, except for my brother. He already knew.
"YOUR WITH HIM?"Both my mom and dad exclaimed.

"God! Yell any longer!"They hurt my ear drums. "Yes we're together! And he's from the sea! So what?"I roll my eyes.

My dad scuffs, "It's a big so what! It's forbidden!"He takes a hard stomp forward. Isaki protects me. He grips me close to his body. Warm blue sweater.
"I love your daughter! I'll never hurt her! I swear on my life! Also, she sorta has ena."Kaname rubs his neck laughing nervously.

"WHAT?"Both of my parents exclaimed.
"Guys, guys! Stop yelling! I know this is a lot to take in but hear them out!"B/n tries to help him. I tilt my head giving him a warm smile.

I could always count on B/n for everything then. Almost that is.
We sit at the kitchen table.

Kaname explains everything. Both of my parents touch my skin and look at my eyes. That sent a cold chill down my spine. I shivered in my seat. Isaki puts his hand on my thighs. He soothes me stroking it. That, helped.

My father sighs, "So I guess it's okay for you two to date then."He crosses his arms. My mom nods, "I accept too."
"Though, I still don't fully accept you, boy."He gives my boyfriend a cold glare.

I sigh, "Dad please don't give him a hard time."I plead, "He's nervous enough and your making him more!"

"Okay, okay, fine! The point is, if you want me to accept you. You can't take
Y/n away from me to live in the sea. Also another thing, don't expect me to like you right after I accept."He splat.

Great! Just lovely father. Isaki nods, "Yes sir!"He saluted like the army.

"We won't be having dinner for a few hours. Your welcomed to stay and wait, Kaname."My mom offers.

"Sure! I'd love to! Just have to call my parents more less."He rubs his neck.
"Great! The phones in the corner. Fill free to use whenever you like!"She gets up and pats his head.

It's good to know my mom accepted him. I felt a rush of relief they even accepted me! He then gets up sorta formally. Huh? Kaname being formal? He then walked to the corner and picked up the phone. He started to dial.

I was still the only one left in the kitchen table. Looks like she picked up.

"Hey, mom I was wondering if I could stay at a friends house till dinner from the surface. I'll be back down at 8 I promise. If not I'll call you before."He explains.

I just stare at him admitting how handsome he is. I rest my hand on my chin. So hot so, sweet. I may have started to drool. He placed the phone back breaking my trance. I smile getting up walking over. He turns around with a gasp. "She says yes, it's fine."He smiles.

I do as well and lean up against the wall. He does as well. Isaki folds his arms and tilts his head on the wall. He then smiles as we look deep into one another's ocean blue orbs.

I fell hard. Deeper in love. He reaches out to cup my cheek. My eyes widen. My face burns. He chuckles a bit. "Has anyone told you, how beautiful you are, Y/n?"

Being so stunned I just stood there shocked. "You must be shocked."He reads my mind. I fold my hands placing them on my chest. I slightly nod.

Kaname shakes his head, "Don't be, you know you are."He starts leaning in. Closing his eyes. Only I ruin it.
"I'm not beautiful."I mutter.

His eyes shot open. Like he was so surprised at my choice of words.
"What was that?"He reassures. His eyes grew showing worry, cold defeat, anger.
"I'm not pretty nor beautiful. No one has ever told me that before. I'm ugly. Why would you want to date a ugly surface girl?"I hide my face.

Hold in your tears Y/n. Don't let them out.

Kaname's POV

Y/n was right in front of me covering her beautiful face. Oh how dare she call herself ugly! It got me angry, worried, sad. She starts sniffling and ends up crying. My heart sunk so deep. All the way to the bottom of the ocean.
I move closer to her and wrap my arms around her.

"I dont only love you because your beautiful. I also love you because of your smile, the way you always laugh, how your so cheerful!"I tickle her.

She giggles looking up, "I- Isaki!"She cries my name only it was a happy cry. I giggled a bit as I kept tickling her.
"S- Stop hey! K- Kaname!"She waves her arms and tries to grip my wrist.

I shake my head laughing, "Nope! Not till you admit your beautiful!"

Her eyes locked with mine. They widen.
"I- I'm beautiful!"She shouts.

I smiled hearing her words. My sunken heart started to float to the surface.
"Say it again!"I plead.
"I'm beautiful!"She grips my arms.
"Again!"My heart flutters.
"I'm beautiful!"She repeats.
(I'm crying while writing this!!)

My heart finally felt healed. I laugh wrapping my arms around her giving a tight hug. "Your beautiful, Y/n. Don't let those demons tell you different."I stroke her hair.

"I won't, I love you, Isaki. Thank you."She grips me tighter.

I let go a bit as we stare into one another's orbs. Falling deeper in love. My eyes flutter shut. The gap finally closed as our lips met. So soft, cold. Wanting, needing. Her lips swiftly gliding on mine. I don't want this kiss to end. I press a bit rougher kisses on her. She stiffness but soon relaxed.

Yet soon Y/n places rough kisses. So we departed out of breath.
