Chapter Twentyfour: Never Let Me Go

Kaname's POV

My eyes widen at Hikari's words. He's my beast friend, should I believe him? "Wait, WHAT?"I scream letting go of Y/n's grip. "It was a long time ago so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you."Hikari walls in putting his hands in his pockets. "Oh another thing, even though it was a long time ago, I love you, Y/n."

Looking to Y/n she's sitting down legs cross. Speechless, eyes flowing like a heavy bucket of water. I give Y/n a angry glare. No response still.
"Earth to, Y/n..."Hikari waves his hand in front of her. She was sucked out of the void and blinked. She just bolted into tears falling on my chests.
"Did you two kiss, when we were together? That's all I want to know."I push her away.

She cries in her hands. Hikari sighs and
nods, "Sadly, Yes. Also you were dancing with, Chisaki so how do you think, Y/n felt?"
"I only saw you two hugging! I didn't know there was more!"I exclaimed in anger.

"I said, HOW DO YOU THINK Y/n FELT? DO YOU CARE ABOUT ANYONE BUT YOURSELF?"Hikari bursts out in flames gripping my collar. "Of course I do! I care about you and the rest of our friends and most importantly, Y/n."I look over to her.

Y/n wipes her tears, "Y- You really, do?"She sniffs.
I nod, "Yeah only, we're you just jealous when you saw me dancing with Chisaki?"I ask. She nods following a hum, "Y- Yes! I was only I asked, Hikari to help but I didn't expect him to go out and kiss me! I thought he loved, Monica."

"I do love, Monica. Only she's so clueless she couldn't understand."Hikari clings his fist, "But you understand, Y/n! That's why I cherish you!"
"P- Please don't break up with me, Kaname. I truly love you. If it wasn't for you... I would of been still alone. Pushed aside. You helped me make friends. I don't want to lose you!"Y/n wraps her arms around me. "Even though I said these things, Kaname. I still want you to be with her. My feelings don't matter. I'll get Monica back and I'll be okay! Please, keep Y/n safe in your arms. I know you'll do a better job then I ever would."He walks out calmly.

She's shaking like a leaf yet again in my grips.
"Y/n... I love you. I always will. I'll never let you go."I grip her tighter.
