Chapter Sixteen: Arguments

Your POV

I was just taking a bite of my last dinner. It was just me and my brother. My mom and my brother got into a fight. B/n wasn't talking at all.
"Is there any more?"I asked watching him stand up and take his plate. "No there's none. Put your plate in the sink when your done."He leaves.

Now I'm alone. I just wanted to have one last dinner with everyone but mom ruined it. I sigh standing up and walking to the kitchen. I put my plate in the sink. I then walk up the stares. Walking up I glance at all of the pictures. I smiled a bit. Passing my brothers room I see him turn on the TV.
I slowly walk in. "Wanna play video games?"I asked placing my hands behind my back.

"No, go away."He splat harshly changing the channels. That stun. I sadly look at the ground.
"You should apologize to mom-"
"DAM IT JUST GO TO KANAME I DON'T CARE RIGHT NOW, Y/N!"

His harsh words made me stumble back and nearly fall. My eyes suddenly became watery. No don't cry Y/n don't cry.

Kaname's POV

"What took you so long to get home from school today, Isaki?"My dad asked as we placed the dishes in the sink. I look away, "Homework."I lie.
"You do that at home. Today was a half day!"He exclaimed.

I flinched stepping back, "I- I was with... I- I was with my g- girlfriend..."I managed to say quietly.
Dam it. "With who?"He turns around crossing his arms. I shot a cold glare and cling my fist, "MY GIRLFRIEND!"I yell.

Silence. Soon his eyes widen in anger. I immediately started taking steps back. "Don't you dare raise your voice at me son! Girlfriend? Do I know her? She better not be a surface girl!"

"No you don't know her. Her name is, Y/n! She's such a sweet girl. She used to be a surface girl till she picked up Monica's Ena."I explained.
"How did she manage to do that?"My dad asked.
"Well you see Monica fell and lost most of her Ena. Then Y/n fell at the same spot and managed to pick it up. It like latched her skin some how now she's one of us. She's still living with her family on the surface."I finish explaining. He sighs, "She's still a surface girl. AND I DON'T WANT YOU TWO DATING! BREAK UP WITH HER!"

No! He can't make me. "No! I love her you can't make me!"Tears start streaming down my cheek.
"Just Wait till I tell your mother! Your grounded!"
"You can't ground me!"I yell in depth.

"OH! Son! I just did! Room now!"He hollers

I just run to my room and slam the door. Y/n and I are running away tonight.
