Chapter Ten: Twist of Fate

Your POV

Later that afternoon Kaname and I invited our friends to come over. I had a mix ready to play. Lights were set up, some snack. My brother helped out as well.

I pressed play and Twist of Fate started to play. "What the heck is this?"Isaki asked.

I smiled, "American 80's pop."Giggling the door bell rings. "I'll get it."B/n runs in.

Soon Monica, Chisaki, Tsumuko, and
H- Hikari walked it. "Come on, Hiki lets dance!"Monica took her hand.

Isaki offers me his hand. I look down smiling taking it.

"It's gonna be a strange twist of fate!
Telling me that Heaven can wait
Telling me to get it right this time
Life doesn't mean a thing
Without the love you bring
Love is what we've found
The second time around..."I smile sining.

He puts my arms down to my waist.
"Has anyone told you, your a beautiful singer?"My face heats up. I shake my head as a no. His face softens, "Well, you are."

Suddenly everyone changed dancing partners. I gasped as Hikari took my hand. I looked back at Kaname fading to Chisaki. My heart sunk. "Sorry, I didn't call this."Hikari looks down.

I smile weekly, "It's okay, just Isaki and I were in a moment."I looked over to Chisaki and Kaname dancing. My blood started to boil. There hands colliding. Them looking into one another's eyes.
K- Kaname spinning her around!

I gasped.

Hikari's POV

I was dancing with Y/n my crush. I felt like I was on a cloud. Soft and fluffy. I couldn't help but to feel a hint of jealousy when her and my best friend Kaname were dancing. She's jealous of Chisaki and Kaname dancing.

"Wanna give it to them good?"I grin evilly cutting her trance. She looks at me and nods. A tear streamed down her cheek. My heart sank! I want to help her. Make her feel loved. "W- What are we going to do?"She stutters shyly.

I push her hair behind her ear. She gasps.
"H- Hikari this is wrong."She gulps afraid. I cup her cheeks shaking my head.
"Not if there making you jealous."I smash my lips into hers.

Sure, it's wrong. So what?
"Telling me I'm gonna get it right this time...
Life, doesn't mean a thing

The second time around..."

Our lips colliding. Tasting her sadness filled my heart with darkness. I started to feel her tears as she let go hugging me tightly. Her head burring in my neck. I hug her tightly. "I love you, Y/n and I'm not letting Kaname hurt you any more."

She can cry on my shoulder. I don't care. I hug her tighter.

Kaname's POV

I look over to Y/n and Hikari. There hugging each other. I see her crying! My heart sinks. I let go of Chisaki's hand and walk over. "K- Kaname!"Chisaki calls.
I don't care. I don't care about her anymore. I just need my Y/n.

She looks up at me and lets go of Hikari. She runs to hug me. "I- I'm sorry! I kissed Hikari!"She grips me bolting in tears.

My eyes widen. I let go of her and run to Hikari and shove him to the floor.

"Don't know what's going on...
Woke up this morning and the hurt was gone."The song plays.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?"My tears bolted out. "HOW DARE YOU KISS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE! MY MOST PRECIOUS GIFT I EVER RECEIVED? I- I'm gonna kill you..."I fall on him out of breath.

He hugs me, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean too! She got jealous of you and Chisaki! I wanted to help her out! It didn't mean anything! She's still yours!"We both sat up hugging each other tightly.

Hugging Hikari was the best feeling in the world. All of the hurt and anger we had between each other faded away.
It's like washing your dirty hands. No scratch that. It's like felling the wind blow across your cheek. Blowing your hair. Feeling relaxed, relief.
