Always, HIS Curvy Luna?!

CHAPTER 9: Our Secret Place...

        When I woke up, I noticed that Kristy wasn't beside me in the bed.

        For the past week I have been I guess what most would think was over protective. As I rarely let her out of my sight.  Though luckily she didn't mind it as she knew the reasons why.

         However, I felt bad cause most of the time we were together, it was trying to figure out Nick's next move.

       I want to protect her. I know what all Nick is capable of doing and what he wants to do. But I refuse to let that happen.

       Kristy has been having nightmares lately and they all involve me dying and Nick taking her.

       Despite the things that we still need to do in preparation, I have decided to let Will take charge, along with Cynthia and help prepare everything and everyone. Especially today since I plan to take Kristy for a picnic to our favorite spot in the woods for a break from all the shit going on.

        Cynthia was nice enough to make the lunches and as I started walking downstairs to look for Kristy, I heard her talking with Amy.

        "I know they're just dreams and everything but, still, I want him to trust me and to let me be the Luna I need to be." I over hear her tell Cynthia.

        "And he will. Trust me." She assures Kristy. "Isn't that right, Cam?" She says, knowing I was there.

        I came walking around the corner and walked up to Kristy and wrapped my arms around her waist while kissing her lips.

       "That's right." I agreed. "So, I take it she told you about the picnic?" I ask her as I look at her up and down, noticing that she is already dressed in her capris and tank.

        "Yes." She smiles at me. "And thank you baby." She says while throwing her arms around my neck and we kissed each other again.

        "You're welcome baby." I reply.

       "And thank you and Will for helping make this happen. As well as make the lunch." She chuckles.

       "Yes, thank you you guys." I tell Cynthia.

       "No problem. Just go have some fun and relax for once." She says while handing me the basket and the blankets then both me and Kristy began heading into the woods towards our spot, holding hands.

         After arriving and me laying down the blanket and basket and us taking a seat beside each other, we took a look at the beautiful view we had in front of us. Though nothing was as beautiful as her and I'm really glad that she agreed to do this with me today. Because I have a surprise for her.

         "It's beautiful here. We are so lucky." She says.

          "It is." I say but am looking at her.

          "So what's to eat?" She asks.

          "I don't know." We both then chuckle as I turn and start taking things out.

           There were a bag of chips, bowl of fruit, fresh green salad, Italian sub, cut in half and some home brewed tea.

           We both ate and then sat there beside each other with my arms around her and us cuddling with each other for a little while before the sunset hit. Then right as it did, I took that time to give her her surprise.

            "Baby?" I began.

           "Yes?" She replies.

          "I want to give you something." I tell her.

          She sits up and looks at me. "What is it?"

          I take in a deep breath as I stand up, then hold out my hand for her to take and help stand her up.

          I then reach into my pocket and pull out a small purple box.

          I then get down on one knee and am still holding her hand and looking into her eyes.

         "Kristy. I know I haven't been the best boyfriend. I have made mistakes that are unforgivable. Yet, you still found a way to forgive me. There's nothing or no one in this world that matters nearly as much as you do. I love you so much more than any Hallmark card can say and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to grow old with you. Have a family and spend all eternity with you. You make me wanna be a better man and I know you are it for me. I have always known. So, Kristy, baby? Will you do me the honor and marry me?" I asked while feeling fearful as she looked like she was going to cry but I couldn't tell if it was good or bad.

         Then, not too much longer, she finally answered.

        "Yes. Yes I'll marry you." She says with the biggest smile on her face that I have ever seen and very excited, as was I.

         I quickly got up and then place the ring on her shaking finger and we start kissing as I also pick her up and start spinning around a little bit before setting her back down.

         "I'm so glad Amy didn't tell me this." She smiles.

        "Well, I knew she wouldn't be able to keep this a secret, from how excited she would be so, I never told her or anyone. Well, actually, Will. But that was only cause I needed his help picking out the ring." I chuckle.

         "Well, I love it. Though not as much as you." She tells me as we then go back to kissing each other again.
