Alex

  I sat on bed waiting for my 3 best friends to come over.I had just gotten back from summer vacation in New York with my family but now we were back. In that time I face timed my friends everyday untill I got back. Right now my Brother and Sister are both at their college dorms.

School started on Monday and I was happy because it was my last year.I was scrolling through my phone as I waited for my friends to arrive.I heard the doorbell ring .

I got off my bed and headed towards the door and flung it open but before I could see who it was I was dropped to the floor with 3 people hugging me in the process.It was then that I knew who these people were.

They finally let go so I could get up.
"Really guys,could've just hug me and not end up on the floor in the process"I said.They laughed at me.

"Where's the fun in that"Gabe said."I second that " Jack said."I had no part in this I just followed what they were doing" Ava said. "Well I say movie night and in celebration of Alex being back I will buy pizza"Jack said.

"I'm in"I said.
"Well what are we waiting for lets get this movie night started"Jack said getting his phone out.

Before I continue let me tell you more about my friends Ava, Gabe,and Jack.Lets start with the boy Gabe.

I have know Gabe the longest,since we were 5. He is on the boys basketball team and is 18 already. He is what can I say he is very responsible but that's why we are best friends.He has blonde hair and blue eyes and is 6'1. He also makes sure we don't get I  to too much trouble.

Next my best and only girl friend.Ava is 18 and on the girls basketball team she's the girly girl of the both of us,But that makes us even more close because of some of our differences.I've known her since we were 9.She has blonde color hair and green/blue eyes which is very attractive to boys and she is 5'7.

Last is Jack I've known him since 1st grade when he tried to cut my hair.Did you hear that the key word was tried,but I stopped him and poured glue on him and since then we've been friends.Jack is 6'1 brown hair with light brown eyes the only difference with him and Gabe is that he is a player unlike Gabe who is very sweet. Jack is also on the basketball team.

My name is Alex and I'm 17 going on 18 in a few months. I'm the complete opposite of Ava.I am 5'5 and shorter than my friends.I have dark brown hair and brown eyes,like my friend Gabe I also play basketball and I also happen to be on the same team as Ava. I'm the team captain and Jack is team captain for the boys but lets just say i'm better than he is.

       Basically the boys and girls basketball team are one all together the difference is when we have games we play against the same gender.Their is only one coach and that is coach Wilson. Although the girls team only has 16 players.

How did I get into basketball.Ava really wanted me to join with her and with time I've grown to love it. Let's just say I'm sorta of a tomboy.Now I don't completely dress like a boy but dresses and skirts are out of the question only and only its very,very,Very important occasion.

Now back to the present."Seriously Ava we are not watching Mean Girls we saw that movies 5 times in one night"Gabe whined.

"And every time we watch it it gets more annoying" I groaned.

"Well I agree with them"Jack said pointing at us.

"Fine but no Paranormal activity I couldn't sleep after that night"Ava said.

"Fine we'll watch Insidious"I said and started putting the movie in.

"Yes finally no more chick flicks,no offense Ava"Jack said.

"None taken"Ava said and sat on the couch.

    During the movie I looked over at Ava and Gabe to see Ava fast asleep on Gabe .

Gabe with a smile on his face.I nudged Jack and pointed to Gabe and Ava."Why don't you just ask her out already Bro"Jack asked quietly.

"I second that''I said.

"I don't know if she feels the same way" Gabe said quietly.

"I pretty sure she does. You've had a crush on her since the 2nd grade." I said remembering the time he first saw her.

He chuckled and continued to watch the movie."You know fate and me talked she said that you should meet me in your room in 15 minutes." Jack said.

I punched him in the shoulder and laughed."You're such a pervert."I said.

"I know but we're still best friends"He said with a big smile.I laughed and continued to watch the movie.I forgot to mention Jack has a habit of flirting with me and being his best friend I go along with it sometimes most of the times he either gets slapped or punched.
