Finally school was over. I was heading to my car to go home and remembered that I had to give Ava a ride home also.
I looked around and Spotted her talking to one of the new boys. I honked my horn at her and the new kid. I stuck my head out the window.
"Cmon Ava I don't have all day quit flirting, you have a boyfriend." I said even thought she doesn't have a boyfriend.
The new kid she was talking too laughed and walked away after saying bye, and a mad Ava walked to my car and got inside.
Next thing I know I get smacked in the arm by a mad Ava. "Ow what was that for?" I said starting the car and driving to Ava's house.
"That was for embarrassing me in front of Matt the new hottie and telling him I have a boyfriend, which I do not!" She said.
"OK fine I'm sorry what were you talking to him about anyway ?" I asked Ava pulling up to her house.
"I'll tell you at practice "she said getting out the car.
"Ok. I'll pick you up in 30 so don't take you time" I said driving away to my house. I grabbed my backpack and walked into an empty house. I made myself a sandwich before going up to change into my workout clothes.
After changing I went downstairs to get my backpack. I went to my fridge to get 2 water bottles and to my room to get a towel and my earbuds.
I locked the door to my house and walked over and in to my car. I drove to Ava's house to pick her up. I honked at her to see her coming out in the most girliest workout outfit.

Here's the thing coach lets us whatever we want to workout/practice in as along as we wear our uniform for games.
He's a chill coach but when it comes to games that's a different story. Ava got into the passenger seat with her pink Adidas bag. "What?" she asked me. "Really pink, sometimes I wonder how we became friends." I said
I laughed as I drove to school."Shut up you love me Bestie, heard a rumor you might not like" She said.
" Really what is it?" I asked her pulling into a parking space."OK Don't freak out ok, It's just a rumor." She said getting out the car along with me, grabbing my backpack in the process.
"Ok apparently We might have new players on one of the teams, and before you say is that it, rumor has it their really good, maybe even better than Jack, and maybe even you" She said.
"Yeah right probably better than Jack but not me plus it's just a rumor." I said walking into the gym to see both teams already there.
We set our bag on the bleachers and got in line with the rest of the team. "Okay guys you know the drill 2 miles on the track and then stretches" Coach said everyone started walking outside to the track and I took out my earbuds and started my 2 miles which would be done 30 minutes.
We were all done stretching and went back into the gym."Ok today we'll be practicing some new plays, you know the routine get in two groups" he said.
Jack and I were captains and we picked our teams, each team having 8 boys and 8 girls.
The only reason coach coaches us together is because he says we should be able to play both genders and toughen up, which is completely fine with me.
"Get ready to lose Jack" I told him getting ready to steal the ball from him.
"Don't come to me crying when I win sweetie. " He said smirking knowing that it pisses me off when he calls me those stupid names.
Well let's just say that I owe Jack pizza for beating him and him complaining that the ball was being biased.
So in order for him to shut up I told him I would buy him pizza which ended up being pizza night at my house with Ava and Gabe included.
We were all sweaty and getting ready to leave when coach called us back in the gym.
"As you heard we might have a new player, well more like three, they'll be trying out tomorrow ,Jack and Alex will decide if they make it or not."Coach said.
" Are they boys or girls" I asked. "You will find out Wednesday at practice" He said.
Ava and I walked to my car and I went back to my house since I'm buying pizza. When we got home Ava went up to take a shower in the guest bathroom while I went up to my room to take a quick shower.
When I was done I went downstairs and ordered the pizza and set up Netflix.
I heard a knock on the door and grabbed 20 bucks from my wallet and headed for the door. When I opened the door I was quickly tackled to the floor again by Gabe and Jack.
" Really?"I said getting up off the floor and punching them both on their arms.
"Ow didn't have to hit us, and you should really get use to the tackling" Gabe said. We all walked into my living room and then then door bell rung.
I went and opened the door to pay for the pizza and gave the kid the money. Let's just say at the end of pizza night Gabe ended up having pizza in his hair and well Jack had ranch on his face, and last Ava had coke all over clothes. Ok I warned them not to mess with me and call me short but they did anyway.
