Chapter 24

Alex's POV

Thump!

"Ah! What the hell Jack?" I heard a voice say outside my door. I shot up out of bed and hid behind the door before they could come in. I saw the door open enough for all three of them to come in.

" Where did-"

"Booooo!" I yelled stepping away from the door.

"Ahhhhhhh!" Jack and Ava yelled. I bursted out laughing so hard. Clutching on to my stomach from Jack's scream.

" I mean uh-" he clears his throat and glares at me.

" That was amazing!" I said laughing wiping a fake tear from my eye.

" Oh shut up it was mostly Ava." He said sitting on my bed.

"Sure it was. Anyways. Why are y'all here." I asked grabbing some clothes from my closet.

" You know we love-"

" We wanted to know if you could cook us breakfast?" Gabe asked.

" Really Gabe how rude!" Jack said.

" What you know she'll just ask what we wanted. Might as well just tell you." Gabe said.

" You know I'm not your maid right?" I asked them grabbing a towel from my closet.

" Yeah but if you do it we'll buy you dinner today after school." Jack said.

"Done,but I can't today tomorrow though." I said.

" Why not?" Ava asked.

" I have to finish the history paper with Matt. He's coming over after school. And yes I talked to my parents they said it was cool." I said going in to the bathroom before they could say anything.

I go out the shower, dried my hair, and went downstairs to see them sitting in the stools by the counter.

" Oh y'all were really serious?" I asked grabbing juice from the kitchen. And 4 cups.

" Uh yeah. Why else would we get here an hour early?" Jack said.

" Ok well y'all are helping. So chop, chop!" I said.

~ 4th period ~

I was walking to my 4th period class when Lacy decided she wanted to be punched in the face by me. She walked beside me, and slammed her hand on my binder that I was going to put in my backpack causing it to fall on the floor with a big

She stood in front of me with a hand on her mouth​.

" Oops. I'm so sorry I didn't see you there." She said innocent like. But I could see the smirk in her eyes.

" I hope you have life insurance, cause your going to need it." I said walking towards her before Ava got in the way.
Where the hell did she come from? How did she-

" C'mon Alex Don't get in trouble for her stupidity." Ava said grabbing my wrist and dragging me in to our next class. She dragged me all the way to my seat and forcefully sat me in my chair.

I glared at the door waiting for that brainless idiot to walk in. Then as if God heard me, she walked in along with her dogs behind her. Just as I was about to get up-

" Shit Jack grab her!" I heard Ava say as I was quickly back in my seat by Jack his hands resting on my shoulders.

" C'mon. If you get in a fight you'll get benched and we need you so don't." He said letting me go.

" I wasn't going to do anything." I said glaring at the back of Lacy's head.

"Sure you weren't." He said and then walked back to his seat.

Matt and I were sitting next to each other doing our assignment in peace before Lacy decided to mess with me.

" Hey Alexander, my dad wants his wardrobe back." She said from across the room by Jack.

" Where is he by way?" I asked earning a glare from her and then she turned back around in her seat next to Jack. I also earned a couple laughs from my friends.

" Pound it." I heard Kenneth say from behind me. I held my hand behind my back in a fist.

" That one was great." Matt said while laughing.

" Well she better be lucky I didn't punch her." I said.

" You know your quite the violent one. Aren't you?" He said smiling.

" Only if you provoke me." I said.

" I'll keep that in mind." He said.

" You still coming over after school right?" I asked him.

" Yeah I'll be there at 5. I just have to take off something-"

The bell interrupted him.

" Ok. I'll send you my address after school." I said exiting the class and walking with my friends to lunch. Lydia joined us on the way to the cafeteria.
