Sergeant Cole - in picture above. Creation of Augusto Ribeiro E Silva. Just so fitting character for this role :)

I ground inwardly, this woman just keeps pushing my buttons.

What the media was telling the people was a complete lie, well partly. I did kill that man and it is true, I am infected, more than that, but everything else was a false information. Kyra plays no role in this mess. It is only me and this woman. All of this to begin with is Natalie's fault. If she wouldn't have messed up with my microchip, I would be just an ordinary robot.

.....

Thinking about it, I would not exist in a first place. Kyra bought me for protecting her from other infected robots. If she wouldn't have been attacked, than she would have no need to have a robot at all. And if this woman wouldn't have created virus, none of the robots would be dangerous, attacking people for no reason, like me. Natalie have made a big mess and now Kyra has to pay for it. People might go crazy hearing the media's lies. I need to see her! I need to make sure, she is safe, it is my job and a reason for existence to protect her.

I leave the presence of Natalie and proceed to the exit. As I have opened the door, I hear her smooth voice.

"Where are you going?"

I glance back at her over my shoulder: "I need to see her."

"Are you totally insane?" I hear her stand up after I have turned my eyes back at the dark tunnel ahead. "The whole city is looking for you! You will not get out of this hole unnoticed, not even as far as she is."

"I don't care about myself, as long as she is safe."

"Why do you care about her so much? Clearly she dies not give a second thought about you. If she would have anything for you, she would have not sent you to CyRo."

"You know nothing, what happened and why she sent me away. You are not going to stop me!" I glare at her.

Natalie makes a heavy sigh and runs her hand trough her red hair nervously.

"OK, fine. I am willing to help you. How does this sounds like? I will go myself and check on her, if she is alright, OK? You stay here and wait for me. It will be easier for me to sneak out. Nobody knows me."

I rose my eyebrow. "Why do you care, what's going to happen to me?"

"You.... you are the key to my plan. Finally I have got hands on you, on a result of my hard work. I am not gonna let you go and get destroyed for some stupid reason, for her. You have no idea what value you have." she said frustration present in her features.

I stood for a moment, contemplating what she said. She had a point, I will agree with that. I will not get far. But soon, when everything will calm down I will go to see her myself. But for now, I have to stay here, as much as I don't want to.

"OK. But go now!" I ordered.

"Alright, alright! Just calm down." Natalie put some clothes, while quietly ranting something to herself. "Where can I find her?"

"Probably in her father's house, her apartment or she might be at work."

I gave the address of all locations and she left. I was standing now in her small living space completely by myself. I just hope she will find Kyra.

Kyra's POV.

A wide glass door opened in front of us, revealing a spacious lobby, full of people. Police officers taking in some criminals, some civilians, robots - mostly policemen. I came here with Sharlene to give the information about Bryce's traits. Detective Solace wants to know, what to expect from him, if captured. We met on a first day I got the news about my android's crime. He seemed a nice and gentle man, despite his profession. I noticed him on the other side of lobby talking with a young girl, or maybe I could call it an arguing. He wore light brown shirt, his pants were a darker shade. A belt with guns and handcuffs rested on his hips. But in all, his outfit was quite formal. I guess he spends most of his time in office, than actually catching criminals.

I was glad, that Sharlene came along. I felt little bit nervous venturing out of the safety of our house. She will keep me little bit calmer with her presence.

"Are you sure, you want to tell him everything about Bryce?" my friend said with worry in her voice.

"I have no choice. If I don't, they might think, I am hiding something. Don't want it to happen. It is enough for most of people to think, it is all my fault. I don't need for police to think the same."

"You are right."

We walked towards detective Solace, as the young girl was still shouting at him. She looked very young, maybe 15 or few years older, but less than 20. Her dirty blond hair cascaded down to her middle back, her curls dancing by every sudden movement she made. She was quite short and had that teenage grumpiness all over her appearance.

"I don't want to see him anywhere near me! I hate him, hate him! Because of him my school life is a mess. I don't need him to babysit me. I am all grown up. I can be by myself, you have to understand that!" the young girl said to detective.

Now I had a clear picture, what was happening. She might be detective's daughter. They looked similar too, when I look at them now. While she threw her tantrum to her father, she pointed at one particular robot near them. He was a little bit taller than me, with coal black hair, his eyes green and his lover jaw was made of black metal, while his upper part of face resembled human. His outfit was typical police uniform - black fitting shirt, trousers. He wore a bulletproof vest. Police insignia was on his moth upper arms. And I noticed one of his arm was made of the same colored metal, while other one was normal, human like. As well as detective, this robot had multiple equipments attached to his belt. But the most striking feature in my eyes, was his overall look. His face was emotionless, his eyes - still, almost dead looking. And he looked quite intimidating by his blank stare and a posture he was holding himself in. If I would meet such a policeman, I would give myself in on a spot. He was indeed intimidating.

Young girl stormed by us as her dad shouted behind her: "Alise! Wait! Alison, you hear me?"
Detective Solace let go of heavy sigh and then he noticed us.

"Ah, good morning Ms Elkwood. You are here right in time. Agh.... my daughter just made a scene in front of everybody...." he laughed. "She is so upset, because I asked Cole to keep an eye on her. Hehe... She hates him!"

Mr Solace looked down at his shoes, as at the same time his expression turned to serious one. He took his eyes back on us and gestured at the robot, on which his daughter seemed to complain about. A robot was not near us anymore, but I could still see his form between the many people around him.

" A crazy day today... Now so many people start to complain about their robots, they find a slightest misbehavior in them and expect us to respond to every single one of their emergency situations. We don't know anymore, which is worth to investigate and which not. They are getting paranoid because of news. Stupid reporters."

"Sorry, I guess it is all my fault."

"No, no. Don't blame yourself. Your case is serious and one android can not turn every robot in to zombie..."

His little comment at the end made me crack a small smile. That girl - Alison should be grateful to have such protective and nice father.

"Oh.. and I want to introduce you to him, the one who is in charge of your case - in charge of capturing your android."

He turned his gaze on the crowd, as he was looking for somebody. "Cole, Cole! Could you come here?"

In seconds a dark silhouette appeared through the people. I lifted my eyes and finally saw a man, who has a job of capturing Bryce. Or I would say ----- a robot. It was the same one, who had a problem with detective's daughter. His eyes bore into me as he looked my form from head to toe. An uneasy feeling washed over me. Before anyone could say anything, he spoke.

"Kyra Elkwood, daughter of William Elkwood. 24 years old, manager in one of 'AmberSol' facility's."

"Ah... This is Sergeant Cole, our special android for this case. You could not get anyone better than him." detective Solace smiled clearly proud of him.
My mouth stayed open for a while as I could not comprehend the information this robot told me. He new everything about me just in seconds, just by looking at me.
