Josh’s place was trashed when we walked past. Comparing it to mine next door, it looked like someone had decided to loot in his front yard.

Cole had walked me home, puffing on his cigarette the whole way hime. He’d occasionally catch my hand while we walked or or offer me his cigarette but I politely declined, plus I didn’t want my parents to get the wrong idea incase I smelt like smoke.

We stopped out the front of my place, Cole currently holding my hand loosely. I was curious as to why he hadn’t driven us around, but I supposed that he might not have one, and I was okay with walking everywhere; it was kind of romantic.

“So when are we cooking?” He asked finally breaking the silence as he rubbed his thumb over the back of my hand.

I shrugged. “Next weekend I guess. My family are heading into the city for Ben’s finals and I wasn’t exactly invited along.” I explained.

“Feeling a bit neglected are you?” He teased and I lightly hit him. “Sorry. So next weekend Saturday?”

“Saturday.” I confirmed, nodding and went to walk up the front lawn.

“Don’t I get a kiss?” He whined.

“You’ve been smoking since we left the diner. No thank you.” I denied.

“I’ve been chewing gum for the last three blocks thank you.” He stuck his tongue out showing me the last of the gum. “So, do I get a kiss?”

I sighed and walked back over to him. He was smirking the whole time. “You won’t always get what you want Cole.” I warned meeting him on the sidewalk.

“Oh but I do, Sarah. And always will.” He professed, leaning in towards me until out foreheads met. “What are you waiting for?” He teased. “Kiss me.” And I did.

He had me wrapped around his pinky finger, had me waiting on his beck and call; hand and foot.
