Sophie's POV:

"Please?" Ethan begs me for the fifth time.
"No Ethan. I don't want to sing."
"Just for me?"
"No."
He slumps into his chair and continues with his work. He gets on my nerves sometimes.

The bell finally goes and we head to lunch. Ethan's hand keeps brushing against mine but it feels as though he's doing it on purpose.

"The lovebirds are back!" Josh shouts as we walk into tutor.

"Shut up before I make you shut up." I growl back at him.

"Oh babe, you can shut me up any day." Josh smirks putting his arms around my waist.

"Really?" I reply sweetly before turning around and kneeing him in the balls. He winces in pain as our whole tutor erupt into laughter.

"It was a joke, chill." He moans, stumbling back to his seat.

I turn around to talk to Ethan but he's disappeared. I catch a glimpse of him storming off out of tutor and glance over at Dylan.

"What's up with him?" I ask Dylan quietly.

"I don't know, he's been off all week."

"Should I go after him or just leave him?"
"We can go find him if you want? I know he'd want to see you if he's upset."

"You're his best friend, he'd want to see you."

"Let's go." Dylan says as we grab our stuff and run after Ethan.

We walk down the stairs and out into the cold air. I look around but there's no sign of Ethan anywhere.

"Look!" Dylan shouts, pointing to the main building where Ethan was stood. We run over but we get no response out of him.

"Hey bro, what's up?" Dylan asks him. Still, no reply.

"Ethan-" I begin but get cut off by Ethan yelling.

"Don't come near me. Just don't. Ugh." He yells and storms off again. I turn and face Dylan with tears in my eyes.

"Hey, don't take it personally. He might just be having one of those days." Dylan assures me, pulling me into a hug.

I head to my last lesson feeling guilty. I haven't done anything wrong but I just feel horrible that Ethan yelled at me. I don't even know why.
Luckily I have Art last whereas Ethan has PE so I don't have to see him.

The lesson drags but finally comes to an end and I head out to catch a bus. I could walk but I'm too lazy. And then I see him leaning against the bus stop, smirking at a piece of paper he had pulled from his pocket. And on the back of the paper read the words :

Call Me ;) - Mia xx
