Sophie's POV:

NEW MESSAGE FROM E❣️

*going cycling so can't talk tonight, see you in school x*
*okay x*

I'm kind of nervous about school. Like nobody knows we are together but something is different now. I feel like everyone knows and are judging us. It's getting to me.

"Sophie? We need to talk." George says, appearing in my doorway.

"Huh? What about?" I reply, indicating for him to sit on the bed beside me.

"Liv." He sighs.

"Continue?"

"She made it clear she didn't want me back. Honestly, I think it's for the best."

"Really? I'm sorry, is that what you wanted to say?"

"No. I wanted to tell you if you and Ethan have a spark, don't be scared to go for it."

"What?" I'm shocked as the words leave his mouth. Does he know?

"I've seen the way he looks at you, there's something there. I'm fine with it and I hope Liv will be too."

"There's nothing going on." I assure him.

"Yet." He winks at me and rushes out of the room before I can reply. He's insane, but I love him.

I fall asleep soon after that and wake up to the sound of my phone ringing. It's James.

"Hello?" I ask groggily into the phone.
"Won't be home till late, food is in the fridge."
"Okay, thanks"
"Bye, have a good day."
"You too."

I put the phone down and drag myself out of bed. I get ready and head to school. Everyone seems really lively as I walk into tutor.

I look over at Ethan but he's busy talking to Josh to notice me walk in. I go over to Mel and talk to her. She shows me pictures of her new puppy before the bell rings for lessons.

I stroll down the corridor to Music with Ethan. He still hasn't said a word to me all day. It's like he's a different person.
