Chapter 41

•Phil's POV•

"why do you act like that ?" I️ ask Dan as we get home

"like what ?"

"You act like you don't even have feeling anymore towards [y/n]"

"I️ don't" I️ looked at him

"I️ don't !"

" Well you act unlikely of yourself when she's around"

"Sorry that I️ don't fit into 'Dan' for you"

"That's not what I️ meant Dan I️-"

"It's okay" He started walking to his room as I️ stayed in the living room.

Dan has changed. He had these very strong feelings towards [y/n] and I know it. The way his pupils get larger when she sees her, how his breathing pattern changes, his cheeks start to rush with blood, and he can't seem to know what to do. It's incredible what love can do. I️ never had that, but I️ also didn't mind. I️ almost was near my 30s and I️ should be afraid about not finding love but I️ honestly don't care. One day i'll meet a amazing women and appreciate her with all I️ have. She'll be lucky and I️ know it. I️ got lonely sometimes when [y/n] would sleep with Dan and how they could be cuddling talking about the world, but I️ let it go.

Ever since their last break up Dan just doesn't act like himself. He's usually not one to be quiet, yes he gets upset and hurt easily but not to be quiet. I️ never really bothered him when he was stuck in his room, until today.

I️ knocked on his door "Dan?" I️ heard some noise happen inside and he opens the door.

"Yeah ?" I️ looked inside and he let me in. I️ sat on his bed and he sat next to me. "What's happened ?" He said

"Dan you've been my best friend for such a long time, and we met on the internet and grew from there. You're a great one too." He looked at me confused on why I️ was saying this.

"Don't fuck it up with [y/n]" I️ say as he rolls his eyes

"I've never seen so many smiles happen in just one second when you're around her, I've known you for like ever Dan and it just never appeared like that. She's-Shes your happiness Dan. How do you manage to stay away from such bright light ? How do you feel ?" I️ said

"To be honest with you, my whole world stops. It just stops turning. I️ feel like i'm sitting in a place that I️ never want to leave and just let go"

"Please Dan, you have to make it okay with her again. You have to try."

"She doesn't love me Phil, not anymore"

"Why ?"

"I️ broke her"

"What do you mean?" I️ said as he sighed, explaining what had happened before she left for Hawaii

Dan -

I️ had been sitting on my bed, not knowing what to do with myself, nobody has made me feel such pain in my chest. I️ couldn't bare it, I️ had to see her. I️ went out to her apartment at 1 am. I️ texted her to come out because I️ knew she would be up, it was a Thursday, and I️ remember she told me she stays on Opposite days to work on videos . She came to the door and saw me, she had her hair in a bun and tank top with sweat pants, sleep wear.

"Hey Dan.."

"Hi"

"So let me ask why you're standing in my door way at 1 am?"
