A/N: Heyo! The reason I'm posting twice today is because I have finals this week. This is really how to cope with all my stress. That and I would hate to leave you all hanging with a huge ass cliffhanger. Anyways enjoy chapter five.

"Give me that paper." You demanded through your teeth, your eyes threatening with tears.

"Not until-" You cut him off.

"GIVE me the paper! Please." You begged.

The look he had on his face was almost like he was having a debate in his head. Mark looked down as he handed you the paper. The water released as you crumbled the paper. Short hiccups escaped your mouth as you almost couldn't feel your legs anymore. Mark walked to you and pulled you into another hug. You pushed off of him.

"No! I would have been fine if you didn't pull this out!" You shouted.

You turned to leave the classroom when you felt a tug on your wrist.

"Don't leave... Y/n, please don't leave." He pleaded.

So full of anger and sadness, you didn't know what to do. You clenched your teeth breathing heavy. You pulled away from his grip and stormed out of the classroom. You looked back to see the hurt in his dark eyes. You thought it would help you cool down, but it only made things worse. You rushed to the bathroom, locked yourself behind a stall door, and sobbed.

The crumbled paper was still in your hand. You opened it back up and read over it. With every word, you could feel each bruise return to your skin. You crumbled it back up and shoved it deep in your bag. You slid to the ground and hugged your legs tight. This was so long ago. Why is it still affecting me?

The bell echoed against the bathroom walls. You didn't want to move from your huddled position, but you had to. The classroom wasn't that far from the bathroom. You took your sleeve and wiped away the tears the best you could and reapplied the makeup that washed away. As you left the cold bathroom, you made your way to Technology Basics. The class where you would have to talk to Evan.

You walked into the musty classroom to spot Evan already staring at you. You slowly continued to your seat.

"Have you been crying?" Evan asked.

Your eyes shot up, but not your entire head.

"No, it's my allergies." You lied.

"Your allergies?" Evan asked not convinced.

"Yes, my allergies. Just drop it." You snapped with a sniffle.

Evan sighed and continued working on whatever he was working on. You sighed.

"You want to talk about last night, don't you."

"You just ran off. Someone could have kidnapped you! It scared me." He claimed in a hushed worried tone.

"Scared you?" You asked taken back by of what Evan had just said.

"Yes, scared. I was in charge of you, and then I just left you." He replied.

"Why did you leave me?" You questioned.

Evan turned beat red. He started to stutter through his explanation that made no absolute sense.

"Forget I asked." You slightly laugh.

"It's good to hear you laugh." He responded.

"You heard me laugh yesterday." You explained.

"Yeah, but today you were crying. You can't fool me. But I'm glad I made you laugh." He smiled.

A hot feeling wash over your face. You finished out the period and left for the final class of the day. Clutching you hands really tight. I need to apologize for what happened earlier. That was completely childish.
