That's how we got here. Me holding onto his body. Crying my eyes out, as Mugman tries pulling me off of him. I can't let him go. This is all my fault. All he wanted was for me to love him. And I did. I loved him, like no one has ever loved another person before!
Boris came in, tears in his eyes as he looked at me. His expression angry as he charged at me. Mugman held him back as I stared blankly into the hallway they had taken him down.
I could hear my heart beat slowly in my chest as I sat in that waiting room. Mugs had decided to bring Boris home. I stayed. I couldn't leave him not now. The sounds of the world went silent as a doctor approached me.
I could feel a sting in my chest as he removed his mask. My eyes widened as he opened his mouth.
The words still ringing in my ears.
"I'm sorry..."
