"Are you dead serious about her being the Master of Fire?" Princess Frea kept asking Aera, while following the young girl.
"How many times have you asked about it already? It irritates me." Aera answered turning to the Princess, "It's just that, my father told me that the Master of Fire is a 'he'."
Aera nodded and continued to walk. "I see, everybody thought so too. Well, you gotta expect the unexpected." Aera shrugged, "True." Princess Frea answered.
While walking, she noticed that the whole place is surrounded by big mountains, "The shrine is still a little bit far." Aera reminded the Princess.
Until they enter a cave, "Excuse me Aera, where are we going?" she asked again. "Under the volcano." Aera simply answered.
The Princess was hesitant to go forward, but she was encouraged by her kingdom and people so she followed Aera. "Do you live under the volcano?" She asks breaking the silence.
"Obviously yes, and the main reason is it's hard to locate and reach. So Master Xaeron won't be disturbed while she's meditating." Aera replied, after a couple of minutes of walking. Princess Frea saw a red light at the edge and the place is getting warmer.
"We're here." Aera said, Princess Frea looked up in front to see that Xaeron is not there anymore. "If your looking for her she's at her relaxing place, and your not allowed to go there."
"But, I need to ta..." She was cut off by Aera, "No buts Princess. You can't disturb Master Xaeron if she's resting. You can talk to her tomorrow."
While Aera was sure that the Princess won't argue anymore, she showed the Princess her quarters for the night. Princess Frea was surprised at how big the cave was, they pass the flowing river of lava and it is giving the whole place warmth.
They reached the quarters, it was indeed a chamber for visitors. Princess Frea wondered of how did Xaeron built this place. "Did you two built this place by yourselves?" She asked Aera but she only kept quiet.
"Rest for now Princess, if you want to talk to Master then you should do it early in the morning." Aera said and about to close the door but the Princess stopped her.
"Can I eat something? I'm really starving." She said while smiling and that brought a slight smile on the young girl's lips. "I'll brought you some food. Wait here." The Princess nodded and she let Aera closed the door.
She placed her satchel on the bed and looked around, there are no windows in the room it was only the door. "I'm not waiting for tomorrow Aera, the whole kingdom is counting on me."
Princess Frea slowly opened the door, and when she saw there was no sign of Aera, she stepped out. She walked to the direction where they came from earlier, one more thing that she's good at is that she can remember the direction of where she came from.
When she saw another direction she went there, even if it's too dark to walk. She sensed that the air coming from this direction is cool. Once she saw the light she immediately ran to it, she was surprised at what she saw.
It was the shrine, it wasn't hot or dark in there. It was like she was at her home. The relaxing ambiance of the place has brought her to the memories of her deceased mother. She took her boots off and feel the cool green grass under her feet.
She giggled when it tickles her, she looked around and saw a big tree in the center of the place. It was well taken care of, and it looked like magical. She walked towards it, there were birds flying around the tree and the sunlight seeps through the small opening of the cave wall.
She was smiling and didn't notice the sleeping figure near her. Good thing she heard Xaeron snore or else she would've stepped into her.
Princess Frea looked at the woman, her beautiful features really brings justice to her face. It was just sad that her attitude didn't match her face, the Princess thought.
