Face Off

The Elementals reached the east wall. They saw the wall that is nearly broken, cracks were visible on it.

"Can the Earth Elementals fix it?" Lexus asked.

"Yes but barely. We can't easily fix it, we can only cover the cracks." Kira said.

Guards were walking towards them. "It's a good thing your here. Shadow Knights are persistent to break the wall." One of the guards said.

Lexus waited for Xaeron's instructions, because she was in deep thought.

"What should we do?" He asked.

Xaeron glanced at him. "Let's see what's going on first."

The guards led them to the top of the wall, and when they reached the top they saw soldiers rolling big boulders downwards.

They saw the Shadow Knights swarming below the wall. "Keep hitting them with those boulders." Xaeron said. The soldiers obliged.

"What do we do?" Aera asked.

"We need more Elementals." The Master of Fire said.

"THE KING IS HERE!" Someone yelled and they turned around to see the King of GeoRock walking towards them.

"What's in your mind Xaeron?" The King asked. Xaeron smirked and the King knows it already that she formulated a plan in such a small period of time.

Xaeron is not the King's highest advisor for nothing. "I want some of your men to follow me." She said and the King gave her what she requested.

Twenty Elementals gathered and faced Xaeron. "I know that all of you know that another war is coming. Today, proves that it's true. Some of you might not be getting back to your homes after this fight. Some of you will live. This is dangerous I tell you. For those who want to have fight for GeoRock and your families, stay. For those who don't then leave. I won't force you." Xaeron eyed them one by one.

None of them fidget and that made Xaeron smile. "Your King and your families are proud of you." She said.

"Now, follow me!"

They went down to where they came from earlier. Kira, Lexus and Aera stood beside Xaeron.

"We will be going underground, and we attacked from behind!" Xaeron yelled. She got a war cry in response.

"Lexus and Aera, you go with the other ten and Kira and I will go with the other. Let's split up, I'll take the left and you take the right." The three of them nodded.

"Split the team into two. Go with Lexus and Aera!" Xaeron yelled and the team made their move. Xaeron gave them torches that hung on the inner wall to light their way.

Earth Elementals build an underground passage towards the outer wall. Then they separated. It was so dark indeed.

They heard the rumbling of the ground up above, because of the explosives that Shadow Knights used for digging the wall. Also the boulders that Earth Elementals using for defending the wall.

"Bastards." Aera muttered. "We'll get them soon don't worry." Lexus smiled and patted her shoulder.

They continued moving until they can barely feel the rumbling above. They know its time to appear above.

Earth Elementals opened the ground enough for them to hide in the meantime. Lexus waited till Xaeron showed up, he saw her not far away from them.

She signaled to him in a count of three, they would start attacking. Xaeron counted showing her fingers to Lexus. And the latter count mentally.

One. Two. Three!
