The Shadow King

Lucille was walking in the halls of a palace where all evil began. Her pace was fast and she was furious as he headed to the garden of the palace.

Once she arrived there she pushed the double doors open and enter the place. She bowed down as she saw the man tending to the plants.

"Greetings My King." She was about to straightened up but she was interrupted. "Don't move." The man said gently.

Lucille didn't move an inch and was staying still. "If you move, you'll die. I don't want to lose any other trusted Aragura." The voice of the man soothes to Lucille's ears. It was like his voice was like owned by an innocent man.

Lucille didn't bother to answer him, she felt a wet thing to her foot and she found out it was a tongue. It was like it was tasting her, Lucille looked horrified at her foot. "Don't worry, Amureus won't hurt you."

The guy walked towards Lucille and made her straightened up. "I want you to meet my guardian." The man turned Lucille to face his guardian as he says.

Lucille was about to scream in horror when the man who appears to be a King, silenced her by covering her mouth.
"Oh you'll scare him."

Lucille looked at the King in disbelief. How could I scare that monster if it was scary as it looks! Lucille yelled in her mind but it was no point in arguing with the King. She doesn't want to lose her life easily. Not yet at least.

The moster or the guardian was a four legged beast with shadow covering its whole body. It has fangs that could stab an Elemental, it was humungous as big as a house.

Lucille tremble at the sight. But the King dismissed the guardian and the beast went off back towards the cave that was attached to the garden. "How was GeoRock?" The King asked.

"King Morpheus, Terrent has been captured by the chosen Elementals and the Master of Fire." Lucille informed the King.

But he didn't answer and he kept tending to his flowers. It was well taken care of and he was like a gentle King.

"Let Terrent be. He can escape by himself and for now you'll take his place." He said and that surprised Lucille.

A Shadow Knight entered the room interrupting the two. "My apologies Shadow King but someone has tresspassed the border, it seems like Elementals who wished to kill you."

King Morpheus, the Shadow King straightened up and looked away from his flowers. "Nobody can kill me, everyone knows that." He said and narrowed his eyes at the Shadow Knight.

The Knight gulped the imaginary lump in his throat. "I shall take care of them immediately."

Lucille on the other hand, was determined to show her loyalty towards the King volunteer to let her take care of then intruders. "No. I shall take care of them myself." The Shadow King walked out from the garden and went outside the castle.

Tha castle was surrounded by big walls and you can't go in and out without permission. So he went outside the walls, he feel his surroundings, no one is in sight but he felt an energy not far from he was standing.

King Morpheus smirked, he sensed that there are ten intruders. They have different power of Elements. "Fools." He commented and he vanished from where he was standing.

"Where is he?!" Said the leader of the intruders. They were watching him very closely and he just disappeared.

They didn't felt the energy of the Shadow King around so they were restless. "You should have never wander in this place." The intruders stiffened by his voice. It was soft but the danger was visible.

They turned their heads behind them and the Shadow King was standing at ease behind them. "Attack!" The leader yelled and that snapped his comrades out from shock.

Different Elements were flying over towards the Shadow King and the latter just dodged easily.

Water Elementals held him still by freezing his body while his neck was exempted. Walls are built around him so he could not escape. Air and fire Elementals were surrounding the walls in case he tried to escape the defense.

The leader jump up in top of the wall and he stood there to watch the Shadow King. "Legends say your so difficult to tame. But look at you now." He smugly said and he was surprised that he didn't see the Shadow King struggled.

"Why are you doing this?" King Morpheus asked.

"To become rich. If we kill you, then the four kingdoms will pay us their gratitude for killing you." He answered.

"Hmm. Your still young, you should just have waited for the chosen ones to kill me." King Morpheus said.

The leader was surprised to what he said. "Are you really sure they can kill you?" He asked the Shadow King.

"Nothing can beat me, the prophecy was a bluff to make the Araguras at ease. But soon, I will rule Aragu. Too bad you can't experience it because you'll be dead soon."

The leader was taken aback by what he heard. He signaled his comrades to come up. "Kill him!"

Fire and air elements were flying towards the Shadow King. The leader let out all his might to release his fire to kill the King.
After they felt the Shadow King's energy vanished, they stopped attacking too.

The smoke from the attack was slowly vanishing but they were surprised to see that it was empty. "I told you, nothing can beat me. It's my turn now!"

The Shadow King laughed maniacally and he appeared in front of them, the leader fell down in surprised.

The Shadow King went to the other Elementals and killed them one by one. His Shadow Element killed them, and they turned into dust. The leader tried to attack the King with his fire but it was no use.

The King was not affected by it. He even held the fire by his own hand. "I-Impossible!"

An Elemental could only held one Element and that's his own Element. The leader was now convinced that the Shadow King is powerful.

King Morpheus throw the fire at the intruder, luckily the leader dodged his attack. The Shadow King throw a blazing shadow ball towards the intruder and it hit him. The intruder yelp in pain as it hit his left arm.

His arm turned into dust and it was slowly consuming him. He kneeled down and cried in pain. The Shadow King walked towards him and he stopped the shadow consumed the man's body.

"I'll let you live, for now. Send this message to the chosen ones that I'll be waiting for them." The Shadow King said and he left the man struggled to get up and ran away.

He went back to his castle and called a knight. "Follow him and once he delivered the message, kill him."

"Yes, my King." The knight said and bowed, then left the castle.

The Shadow King looked at the horizon from his room. "I'll be waiting Xaeron."
