Chapter 8

One Directions P.O.V

"Dude you chickened out!" teased Harry.
"Shut up!" Zayn retorted.

"It's just one question Zayn. What happened?" questioned Niall.

"I don't know lads. I choked. Are you sure it's not weird that she's 18 and I'm 22?" stalled Zayn.

"Noooo. You guys are legal in both countries," Liam said as if it was obvious.

"And it's really not that much of an age difference," Louis pointed out.

"I just feel like things'll get awkward between us," Zayn confessed.

"Zayn you'll never know unless you try," daddy direction advised.

"But Dinahs different. I don't want to hurt her. She's still kinda new to ask of this. Everythings chaotic for her. This life makes her happy but it also makes her sad... I just don't want her to get hurt," said the Bradford bad boy unintentionally showing his soft side.

"Yeah like you could hurt anybody," Louis said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes.

"Especially Dinah. We see how much you fancy her," Niall pointed out.

"Don't make such a big deal about this," offered the long haired band member.

"I WILL MAKE A BIG FUCKING DEAL ABOUT IT!!!" Zayn screamed in frustration.

Everyone was silent. Zayn sighed as he ran his hands through his hair, "I'm sorry, its just that if I ask, and she says no, things will be forever awkward. If she says yes, but we break up, our friendship is over and any future contracts with Fifth Harmony."

"You're blowing this way out of proportion," the oldest member said.

Zayn looked over with annoyance. Liam eyed Louis down, who rolled his eyes in response, "What Louis means to say is... You'll never know until you try..."

Louis rolled his eyes again, "No. I meant he's blowing this way out of proportion."

Everyone except Zayn looked at Louis silently telling him to SHUT UP!!!

"Ok. Well, I'll try again some other time..." Zayn said sadly.
