The Next Day

Dinah was deciding if she should call Zayn or not. Her heart and mind took two separate paths on the issue, she wished she could just leave her heart out of it, (hehehe see what I did there) so she asked for help from her sister.

"Kamila!!!" Dinah screamed.

"What?!" Kamila screamed back.

"Come here!"

"No! I'm doing something!" Kamila retorted.

"Please!" Dinah pleaded.

"Ugh! What do you want?" Kamila said as she reached the room.

Kamila noticed Dinah looked genuinely confused and upset.

"What's wrong?" She asked as she sat down next to her big sister.

"I need your help," confessed Dinah.

"With what? I'm not covering for you again! Last time I did mom and dad gave me a serious talking to and a major whooping!" Kamila said reminiscing.

Dinah laughed a little and shook her head, "No, no. It's nothing like that. I need advice."

"Shouldn't I be the one asking you for advice?" Kamila said, narrowing her eyes.

"Yeah, but I can ask you for advice too. We're only like 3 years apart. Plus Naki's gone and everyone else hates me, you're my only option," Dinah said.

"They don't hate you," replied Kamila.

"Yes they do."

"Dinah look at me. I'm your sister and your like my hero. This sounds so cliché and most people will say it never happens, but I actually want to be like my older sister when I grow up. Even though you made me look like a mean sister world wide," Kamila said giving Dinah a smirk as she referenced her World Star video.

Dinah laughed, "Really?"

"Really. You're the reason people everywhere smile. You're the reason people don't self harm. You're the reason some people are still alive... And you do it, while doing what you love. You do it with people you love. And in the process you share our culture and religion throughout the world. Anybody who hates you obviously doesn't know what you go through. Even if their family. I mean I don't know either but it's got to be pretty hard," Kamila explained.

Dinah gave Kamila the biggest bear hug ever, set her down, and kissed her cheeks.

"You're not to bad little sis," Dinah said with a smirk

"No duh," Kamila said with a smile in return, "but what exactly did you need my advice on."

"Oh. Right. Ok this might sound stupid after what we were just talking about but should I call Zayn?" Dinah asked.

Kamila looked at Dinah with her, are you serious, face. And Dinah nodded in response. Kamila sighed, "Dinah I say call him. The worst thing that could happen is he moved on and if he did then so should you. But remember if this goes bad, I don't know much about love. I mean for Pete's sake you know we're not allowed to date until we're 16. Mom and dad will kill me. But there's my advice."

Dinah smiled at her little sister and gave her a noogie.

"Ahhh! Stop!" She yelled.

Dinah did, but she also laughed. Kamila got up, rolled her eyes, and started to leave.

"Mila you know I love you right?" Dinah said.

Kamila turned around and gave Dinah a smirk, "I know."

Dinah scoffed then laughed as she threw a pillow at her little sister. Kamila jumped and ran out the door.

"I love you too DJ!" Kamila said as she ran down the hall.

She's so stupid lol. And thats why I love her! Dinah thought as she laughed to herself.

Dinah picked up her phone and dialed *67 before she put in Zayns number. She didn't want him to know it was her. It rang a few times before he picked up.

"Hello?"

"Zayn?"

"Dinah? Is that you?!?!" Zayn said with lots of excitement.

"Yeah it's me." Dinah said filled with affection and hope

"Baby I've missed you so much! Can I please have a chance to apologi-" Zayn started to say before a voice on his end interrupted him.

"Zaaayyynnn. Come back to bed. We haven't even got started yet."

"Who is that???" Dinah said with shock and hurt evident in her voice.

"Dinah please. Just hear me out."

"You know what Zayn? No. I don't want to hear another thing from your mouth. It was a mistake to call you. Bye."

"Dinah wait!" Zayn said as she hung up.

Dinah sighed and looked up at the ceiling as a tear rolled down her cheek. She slowly laid down on her bed and wept. Her phone rang a couple of times, but she didn't answer it. She knew who it was, and she did not want to talk.
