"eva, start picking up your garbage and start packing, we're suppose to leave at 12:30" my mom says before walking out of the room. i look at the clock on the wall, 10:15.

i get up from the bed and grab my chip bags, tossing them into the little garbage bin next to the bed.

i decide to go live on instagram, knowing i will grow bored while cleaning.

i wait until more people join the livestream before speaking.

"hey guys, im currently cleaning up the hotel room because we're leaving today" i watch the comments flood the screen.

'user378: are you still friends with the why dont we boys?' i read the comment before speaking again. "we are still friends, just some drama between us and differences" i didnt fully lie. i just added onto the truth.

'user29: is that why you unfollowed zach'

my eyebrows furrow in confusion. i dont recall unfollowing him.

"i didnt unfollow anyone, i only went on instagram to post my pictures and like some posts. i dont check my following list"

'user57: he blocked you then because the mutual between you guys isnt there anymore" i look around, dumbfounded.

"oh thats nice, i do need to cut out negative people in my life so he made it easier for me"

"jadeburnett: WE NEED TO FACETIME RIGHT NOW HURRY UP"

"guys im sorry but i have to finish cleaning, ill be live again later i promise"

i exit off the app and go to my contacts to click jades name but she facetimes me first. i answer quickly.

she pops up on the screen out of breath.

"ZACH H-HE WAIT HOLD ON LET ME CATCH MY BREATH" she sets her phone down on what im assuming is the kitchen counter.

"jade where on earth are you"

she regains her breath, picks up her phone and starts talking.

"okay so im with the boys at the why dont we house, zach wasnt there so i was fine. we were all talking and joking around, then the door opens and we look over. zach walks in with his arm around sophia rose" wait. sophia? my old best friend? i drop my phone as i feel the tears brim my eyes.

"eva listen to me, im not fin-"

"WHY WOULD I WANT TO HEAR ABOUT MY EX BEST FRIEND AND EX WHATEVER HE IS HAVING A THING JADE?!?" i scream at her and tug at the roots of my hair.

"eva, im not finished. let me finish. okay so i stare at her and once she sees me, her eyes grew wide. she whispered something into zachs ear and he nodded so she walked upstairs. i waited 4 minutes before walking upstairs 'to get my sweater'. i saw the bathroom light on and opened the door. she looked at me and shook her head before asking why im here and if you were around. she told me her and zach have been a thing since march" i dont speak. what can i say? the boy i like cheated on sophia.

"uh jade i have to finish packing, once i get home i'll call you, i love you and miss you" she says the same before ending the call.

i hear on the door and shout come in. joey enters the room and sits on the bed next to me.

"i heard what jade told you" he says after a long moment of quietness. "i dont approve of him"

"i kinda figured you wouldnt approve even if this didnt happen" i look at him and he pulls me into a hug.

"you deserve someone who will put you first" he says, pressing his lips to my temple.

"i dont even want to go back home, i'd rather stay here" i whisper, my voice cracking.

"you have to face this problem eventually or just cut all of them out of your life" i wouldnt want to do that. ive grown close to the other boys, i cant just drop all of them.

"how do i cut them out of my life when they've became so important to me"

"slowly get distant with them then one day never message them back, unfollow them on social media, delete their numbers. its only going to get worse considering theres already rumors and speculations. its better to get it done with now" i nod my head and let out a shaky breath.

i pull out my phone and delete their numbers. it took me a while to click yes but it had to be done. they never did anything wrong but keeping them around me would be a constant reminder of zach.

i wasnt going to unfollow them until when we get home. i know this is going to be hard but i dont want to be hurt down the road.

"imma go finish cleaning, i love you eva, okay? i only want you to be happy. dont let a boy ruin that for you" he smiles and walks out the room.

i start shoving my clothes into my suitcase, not caring if its a mess. i walk into the bathroom and grab all of my necessities, putting them into my tote bag.

i check the clock again, 11:24. i make the bed and close the curtains before dragging my suitcase and bags into the main room. i set my stuff near everyone elses, seeing them standing outside on the back patio. the view was the ocean, the crystal clear blue ocean.

"im going to miss this place" i say as i walk towards them. my mom turns around and smiles at me, pulling me into a hug.

"i am too, its so beautiful and relaxing, maybe we can come back again next year"

"i would like that a lot" we all stand their for another 10 minutes before my mom speaks up and says we have to head down to the lobby.
