"hi" eva says to a sleepy zach. she smiles at the brunette, touching his face.
"hi baby" he whispers into her ear, wrapping his arms around her. he moves her hair out his face before pressing his lips to her cheek.
"what are we doing today?" after eva was released from the hospital, she went back home to celebrate christmas with her family and friends. as for zach and the boys, they all went back to their hometowns to celebrate with their families. eva's christmas present to zach was to surprise him in new years eve in texas.
now they're laying in his room, loving each others company.
"i was thinking, maybe, we could go out together. just you and me" he interwines his fingers with hers.
"so like a date?" she says, cheekily smiling.
"yes like a date" he says before letting out a laugh. he stares into her eyes, falling more in love with her.
"okay, what should i wear? does it have to be fancy or can i wear leggings with a nice knitted sweater" she sits up, sitting criss crossed. strands of hair was falling out of her bun, falling in front of her face.
"just wear a hoodie and jeans"
"no shoes?" eva starts giggling, being a smartass.
"im ignoring that question." zach says before picking up a pillow and putting his face into it.
"oh my gosh, this will be our first official date and can you believe we've known each other for over a year? a whole flippin year and we're making progress." eva says, smiling brightly before straddling zach. "if you were to tell me last year in january that a year from now, we would be dating, like what the heck i would've said 'nO yOu ArE wRoNg My FriEnD' i would probably laugh too"
zach removes the pillow from his face and smirks. "oh we're dating? when did this label come upon us?"
"did i say dating? i didn't mean dating i just meant like talking and hanging out because i know we're friends. i meant if you were to tell me we would be friends i would laugh like whAt! friends? you and i? nononono!" she says, out of breath.
"are you done rambling?" he smiles up at the girl.
"no. im not done. as i was sayi-" she's cut off by zachs lips being pressed onto hers. he pulls away and pecks the tip of her nose.
"you're adorable, do you know that?"
"i like to consider myself cute but adorable will do mr herron" she pecks his lips quickly.
"okay ms miller, what shall we do?"
