eva sat in the passenger seat of jades car, with joey and charles in the back seat.
"bro eva calm down, they dont hate you and they arent mad either" jade tries to calm down eva, who is shaking and practically drenched in sweat.
"yes they do jade" eva looks at her hands and sighs. "i dont want to talk to them, i'll just see zachs face"
eva continues to vent, not noticing the 4 boys walking towards jades car.
"theyre here, lets go eva" joey and charles get out the car, the 2 girls following.
"eva oh my god i missed you" jack says, walking towards her, trying to hug her. she backs away, her heart breaking seeing the hurt in jacks eyes.
"look guys, i just wanted to tell you guys that im not dropping you guys because i dont love yall, im doing it because i do love yall and i know staying around you guys will remind me of zach which i dont want" eva says, looking at the boys. they nod their heads and look at the ground.
"are you going to unfollow us now" daniel asks.
"i dont have my phone but im going to do that when i get home" a tear slips out of her eye, wiping it quickly.
"if this is your goodbye then im going to wait in the car. we did nothing to you. zach did. he hurt you. we are just as confused as you are. youre doing this out of spite. dont take your heartbreak out on us. we've done nothing but be your friend" jack says, out of breath. he looks at eva and walks away.
after a few minutes of silence, jonah is the one to break it, "are we done here? we have things to do and im pretty sure you do too"
"um y-yeah, you guys can leave now" her voice cracks, hoping it wasnt evident that her heart hurts.
they walk away from the four, heading back to their car.
once they're all settled inside, corbyn takes his phone out of his pocket, zachs face popping up with tear stained cheeks.
"im sorry guys, this is my fault. im such a dick. i ruined your guys friendship with her" his voice cracking, skipping octaves.
"its whatever. we have other things to focus on" jack says, turning the car on and driving out the parking lot.
