eva is woken up by her mom pulling the hotel blankets off her body. she looks over to her left and sees jade, who is still asleep. she lets out a groan before getting off the bed. she walks into the bathroom and does her morning routine, before walking back into the room.

jade is awake, on her phone, texting the boys to keep them updated on whats happening. "do you know what time we have to be ready at? they didnt tell me what time." she says, looking up.

"um i dont know, they said the other people wanted to meet me before anything happens" eva says, going to her suitcase to grab her outfit. jade nods and gets off the bed to get ready too.

zach boards the plane, waiting for the others to stop messing around. they planned a last minute trip to new york and decided taking the private jet would be more convenient.

"can you guys hurry up? i want to arrive in new york before 5." he snaps at the boys, who are skateboarding on the pavement.

"oh my god zach, chillll we'll be there before then. why are you so pissy anyways?" corbyn asks, trying to do a flip. jack tries after corbyn but falls, his phone falling out of his pocket.

"FUCK" he shouts, running towards it. he picks it up and shouts yes. "guys good news, its not broken" he does a little dance before walking to the jet to board.

"good job jack. can you all be like jack and come inside the jet so we can leave?" zach says with a bit of attitude.

"bro calm down. you aren't going sight seeing when we get there. we have plans already." jonah snickers along with corbyn and daniel.

"i don't care what we do but i want to be there sooner than later" he gives up and goes to sit down on one of the seats. he leans his head on the window, letting out a sigh.

"im so excited to see eva. she's been excited to show us her performance" jack says, smiling big, scrolling on his phone.

"wait what? eva? when?" zach looks at jack, waiting for an answer.

"oh in new york, she was asked to perform at a small artist thing. i dont know what it's called but it's good experience for her. when she heard we were going to new york, she got our names added to the invite list" he stops talking and continues playing the game on his phone.

zach looks at the other 3 boys as they board the plane. "you guys didn't bother to tell me that we were going to see eva? she wants nothing to do with me"

"oh you're funny bro. if you saw her instagram captions and our texts, you would say otherwise." corbyn laughs, shaking his head.

"true, she's head over heels for you zach. quit being a pussy and dm her. she's too scared to do it and so are you so you're both getting nowhere." jonah adds. daniel nods, along with jack.

"eva hates me. you don't have to lie to me." zach goes on his phone, trying to block out the boys and their advice. he goes onto instagram, instantly regretting it because her face is the first post.

zach cant help but smile at his phone. he misses her a lot but he knows they aren't good for each other. well, more like he isn't good for her. he knows he doesn't deserve anymore chances but all the boys keep pressuring him into dming her. he knows they only want them to talk things out so the group can hang out and not be awkward.

"hey zach bro, for the hotel, we got only 1 room with 2 beds and a couch. do you want a bed or couch?" jonah asks the boy, stopping him from thinking.

"i'll take the couch" they all nod and go back on their phones. the boys noticed that zach has been isolating himself since eva stopped talking to him in january. they noticed how his mood has changed completely when it comes to social media because every social media platform mentions her, bringing back the negative things he's done and put her through.

eva hates to admit it but no matter how many times zach hurts her, she'll always come back. she's so infatuated with the boy. she wouldn't say its love but others see it as love. she considers it a middle school crush. nothing important but it is important considering she's so hooked on him. she tries to forget about him but he's always in her thoughts. day and night. she always wakes up, hoping that he's laying near her. she still has hope that he cares but she knows he won't speak to her. she gets tired of waiting for him to come back. everyone tells her to move on but she's holding onto that last piece of hope, that he will come back. she doesn't care how long it takes, she'll always be waiting.
