"lets go evaaaaaa, it'll be fun. it'll just be you, me, and christina. you need to breathe fresh air again and socialize" jade lays on me, as i cover myself with my blankets.

"no jade, i want to stay in here forever" i say, my voice muffled by the pillows.

"eva. sweetie. you're going. we're just going to eat then you can come back home"

"i'm only staying out until 7. if we are not near or on our way back by 6:45, i will walk home." jade cheers before pulling me out of my bed.

"okay so we're going to taco bell so you don't have to dress up" i look down at my pajamas im wearing then look back up at jade.

"can i wear this?"

"no... why would you wear that?"

"its just red shorts and a spongebob shirt" i glare at her.

"IT DOESNT MATCH"

"im wearing my crocs" i walk into my closet and grab my blue crocs. i walk back out and jade is sitting on my bed.

"you look like a mess, your hair is an actual birds nest" she points at my head. "did you hear that? sounds like two birds chirping in that hair"

"ha ha so funny. i'll put it in a bun then we can go" i grab a hair tie off the floor and put my hair into a messy bun.

"its falling out. did you even try?"

"no jade. thats the point."

"anyWAYS! lets go, christina is on her way there right now"

{skip car ride bc its boring}

we walk inside the cold taco bell and see christina sitting in the back, with corbyn. we walk towards them and sit across from them.

"hey pals" i say and smile at them.

"hi eva, how are you?"

"um ive been better, ive been writing songs to keep myself occupied"

"you look like a mess. when was the last time you showered?" corbyn asks, his mouth filled with cinnamon twists.

"corbyn, thats mean" christina says, pinching his arm.

"OW" he screams, rubbing his arm and pouting.

"anyways. your songs, are they going to be released anytime soon?"

"um i don't know yet" i say looking down at my hands. "i kinda want to keep them to myself because they're more personal"

"are they completed?" corbyn asks, drinking out of christinas soda.

"i started writing 3, only 1 of them is done" we sit in an awkward silence for a few seconds before corbyns phone begins to ring. he looks at it and presses accept clickly.

"hello?" he looks at us and smiles before speaking again, "what do you mean you're here? like here at taco bell? the parking lot? okay um hold on" he looks at us before sprinting out the door. we watch from the window as he yells at the boys.

"should we leave? was i not meant to come?" i ask christina, beginning to sweat.

"no eva. you were meant to be here. i don't know why those idiots are here." she reassures me before looking at the boys who are getting out the car.

"oh my god i don't want to see them. especially him." i squeeze into the booth next to christina before putting my head down on the cold table once they walk towards us.

zachs pov

"hey eva, jade, christina" daniel says with cheery voice. they say hi back, except for eva, who remained silent.

"hey eva" jack says, sitting across from her.

she lifts her head, making my heart ache. her eye bags are dark and big. her lips are chapped. her hair was a mess. her eyes are red, very red for my disliking.

"hi jack, daniel, jonah" she whispers before putting her head down again. everyone stares at me, waiting for me to say hi.

"hi eva" silence. i look over at jade and corbyn, who are holding in their laughter.

"how have you been?" jack asks.

"terrible. you know why. everyone knows why. no it won't get better. i won't give it time. yes i know i deserve better." her voice grows louder as she speaks, scaring me slightly. she lifts her head and stares at us. "ive heard all of these questions. im tired of them. stop asking me the same stupid questions." she looks at us before getting up and walking out.

"damn, thats the most shes spoken" jade says before following after her.

"damn zach congrats. you screwed this up bad" daniel says.

"im having deja vu, like this happened before oh wait it did because you've done this before" jack scoffs before walking out.

"why am i being blamed? he asked the stupid question"

"because you're the reason why the question is being asked" christina retorts back.

"oooo she snapped" jonah says, laughing. daniel high fives him and laughs too.

"you both are idiots. why am i friends with you guys?"

oi mates im writing a new fanfic, dont know for who yet but its getting there

edit: wattpad keeps deleting parts of this chapter oh my god. i dont understand why it keeps doing this. plus i published this yesterday so i dont know why it still says draft.
