(Taehyung Pov)
"Did you see where Aiden went?"
I ask Clara as she cleans up the dishes with Mari. He had slipped away after dinner and I couldn't find him around the house.
She looks up at me with a curious glance I couldn't hide from.
"I think I saw him walking down the stairs to the basement," Mari points and I thank him quickly. Moving beyond the room before Clara could question my ulterior motives further.
"Taehyung," She calls my name and I stop suddenly, turning on my heel.
"Yes?"
I look back to see she had turned off the water and was wiping her hands on her apron. Although she was my younger sister, Clara was wise beyond her years and living with her often felt like I was living with a mother instead of a sister.
Her watchful eye always reporting back to the one person who matters most to the both of us.
"The boys and I are leaving in fifteen minutes to show them Paris at night. Would you care to join us?" She invites.
Clara had already made her assumptions about Aiden and made it clear to me she didn't approve because of the family tension.
"I would love to go, but unfortunately I have work at six," I am quick to excuse myself from her weak attempt to stop me and she rolls her eyes, but to my good fortune she doesn't discuss it further.
I lean against the door to the dance studio in the finished basement of our small mansion apartment, I watch Aiden as he dances. The bright lights in the room illuminate his body, showing off his perfect form as he mixes contemporary, ballet, and hip-hop in one fluid motion.
His red converse squeaking on the hardwood floor as he leaps in the air and does a full spin, before gracing the floor with his presence like an elegant butterfly and he kicks into a double spin. His loose light denim jeans and almost see-through white tank top shows off his petite body and beautifully toned muscles.
