At the first sight of blood trickling from my soulmate's neck, I bite my lip to forcibly keep my composure.
Looking through the scope from a distance; Mari, Finley, and I watch the events unfold before us.
"I've been able to identify the two as Luccia and Icarus Ren," Finley informs us.
"Icarus is Aiden's father but I haven't heard of this Luccia," I tell him and although he wasn't in my visual field I could almost feel his shrug.
"Are we actually going to let them get on the plane?" Mari asks with utmost concern, Out of the three of them, Jamie looked like he was in the worst shape with blood dripping down his forehead having unknown origins as to how it came to be. He's forced out of the van as the others stand, following the lead of their kidnappers, but has to lean against Aiden for support.
" You know the rules. We don't have a purpose. And without purpose you can't have prevention." Finley reminds him.
"You're one to talk, your boyfriend's life isn't at stake," Mari argues but I put down the scope and grab his shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze.
"Finley has a point. We must be patient," I remind him. He pushes my hand off and turns to me.
"The woman still needs to have a connection in this. Should we send her picture back to the family? Maybe your father can ID her." Mari suggests and I shake my head.
"And what, tell him hey do you know this psychopath whose captured your daughter? Of course, that would go over well. Besides my father has no associations with her. I would know." I tell them and Mari sighs.
"We should be in the clear for now. I don't think Luccia and Icarus would dare to do anything to our cargo on the plane. We'll beat them to Nice, find out what is the purpose of this, and get them back at all cost." Finley announces and we make our first move under the cover of darkness.
