(Taehyung POV)
I sniffle a little as I sit on Aiden's hospital bed in the cold sterile room. Holding his hand in my lap and playing with his delicate fingers as I try to calm myself down. His other arm in a sling around his neck.
Seeing my precious sweetheart in such a state of chaos hurt my soul and everything within my inner being screamed to hold him close and protect him.
But there were some things in this world I couldn't protect him from.
The wrath of his father would be one of them.
I lean forward and lay the softest kiss upon his cheek.
"I love you so much, my foolish Juliet," I whisper and chuckle to myself remembering when he thought he was dying.
The hair on the back of my neck stands up as the door to his room opens and I turn around to see an older lanky man in a suit with light brown hair and light brown eyes.
He looks at me and I look at him half in fright and half in a strange recognition.
I also had almost the same amount of recognition I felt when I saw that woman selling flowers.
"Taehyung?"
He says my name and looks me up and down with his mouth open. I look at him confused. Letting go of Aiden's hand to stand and bow to him in respect but he comes over and forces me to stand up straight again before I can finish the bow.
"Wow...look at you, My god you've grown."
He gasps as he holds my shoulders and examines me. He giggles a little and lets go of my shoulders.
"I knew you when you were really small, you were only four so you probably don't remember me but wow. Now you're taller than me and you look... wow."
His mouth slightly agape as he continues to look at me making me feel slightly uncomfortable.
"What are you doing here? You must be Aiden's friend huh?"
He asks and I go to answer him when the door opens again. I smack my the palm of my hand against my face and squeeze my eyes shut.
"Taehyung Jin!"
My father's voice alone makes my heart sink into the pit of my stomach.
