**Kaleb's POV**
I woke up with a pounding headache. I decided that an Advil would help to relief the pain. I got up from Hunter's bed and aimed for the kitchen.
She was still asleep when I left the room. Leaving her to sleep was the best idea right now. I remembered every single detail from last night and what happened.
I need help. We both need help. Being strong for her is what I should be right now. In order to help her and myself I need to start telling her what's going on. I can't expect to make things better by not telling her anything.
I leaned against the counter in the kitchen. My hands ruffled it's way through my hair while I think.
Everything's been so frustrating. I felt weak inside but strong on the outside. I let out a groan in hope of relieving myself.
I heard footsteps slowly walking from behind me before Hunter plumped down on the barstool next to me.
She gazed at me, her sleepy eyes getting the better of her. She broke her gaze before dropping her head on my shoulder.
"Someone is awake." I mocked her. A smile played on my lips after hearing a scoff towards my remark," oh shut up." She groaned.
"Gee so much joy from the little sunshine." I teased once more. She lift her head from my shoulder, giving me a scowl expression that hovered over her face.
"Can you shut the hell up?" She asked, groaning in frustration and once more dropping her head onto my shoulder. I chuckled at her morning behavior before removing her head slowly from my shoulder in an attempt to get up.
She refused to remove her head from its current spot and instead wrap both her hands around my neck and shifted her head back to where it was before.
"Okay, nope. I want to get up." I told her. She groaned once more, her hold tightening on me.
"Okay, fine." I said getting up slowly. As I stood up she wrapped her feet around my waist. It's like I'm holding a big baby.
"Okay little one. How old are you?" I asked.
"Three." She mumbled. I walked over to the couch lying down. Her grip began to loosen giving me access to escape.
Successfully I did and went back into the kitchen to prepare breakfast. As I placed her favorite tea to boil on the stove top I heard the barstool scrapping against the floor again.
I swiftly spun around, meeting an awaken Hunter. "How are we going to solve our problems?" She asked but before I can answer she continued," and I don't want to go by a therapist. I've heard how she tried to solve your problem by holding you hostage in a box." She rolled her eyes.
"It wasn't that bad but they didn't do anything though." I informed her. "Yeah I know. That's exactly why I don't want a therapist." She replied in a duh tone.
"Well I don't know how to help our problems besides talking about it." I breathed out. I returned back to making our teas and breakfast. I pulled out a pan from the pantry ready to make french toast.
A moment of silence passed by before she spoke up," That's it!" She pointed out, loudly.
"What's it?" I asked, confused. I sensed some sort of plan coming from her. " We talk things out." She said loudly again with success brightening her appearance.
"If we keep talking things out and sticking together we can solve our problems-" she paused, standing up, "because since last night I've been feeling relieved and better, what about you?" She asked, looking at me directly in the eyes.
"Now that I'm thinking of it...I do feel a little better." I mumbled, realization notifying me of my success.
"See? If we just work together and not be distant we'll work it out." She smiled at me," see I'm a smart child." Her smiled tightened as she laughed out that sentence.
"Yeah, yeah, smart child, now come help me with breakfast." I smiled. My blood thickened with joy, swimming it's way inside me.
"I still have to brush my teeth." She snorted, showing me her teeth.
"Eww. Go brush those fangs." I laughed, picking up the dry, dish cloth on the counter and gently throwing it at her.
She dodged the cloth and ran inside the room laughing like a hyena," don't forget to scrub!" I yelled, teasingly.
"I will!" She screamed back, mockery spilling from her voice. I laughed at her happy state that always seemed to bring a smile to my face.
I still like her but I can wait until I know she likes me. The time is not right. Plus I can't break our promise.

**Hunter's POV**"
Where did you said we're going?" I asked, yelling across the room. Her voice pouncing of the walls making my ears pound.
"I'm literally next to you!" I yelled back, waiting for the ringing to bring it's luscious music to my ear. Ha! Sarcasm makes everything seemed so much better.
"Oh yeah...right. Anyways answer my question." She said using her indoor voice. " My grandparents, as I said for the tenth time in five minutes." I groaned, feeling like she's never going to stop asking me that question.
"Okay." She smiled, turning away and skipping towards her chest of drawers."Why are you so happy?" I asked while she neatly takes out her clothes from her drawer.
"Because your grandmother is going to be there." She gave me a toothy smile. I walked over to my bag shoving my clothes into it, not even bothering to neatly pack.
"And?" I further questioned, raising one eyebrow at her. "And? And? Have you taste her food? It's better than a five star restaurant by far." She praised my grandmother's cooking.
I chuckled at her mouth watering face, taken away by how amazed she was.
"Are you okay?" I asked when the thought crossed my mind. I walked over to her bed lying down.
"Yeah, why?" She questioned back, heading towards the bed as well.
"I just wanted to make sure." I insured her while she lie down next to me. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun, strands springing out here and there. Her forest eyes glistened in the light, sparkling like a bright star.
"I want to sleep." She pouted, closing her eyes and roughly placing both legs on top me. She cuddled up with her pillow becoming more comfortable.
When she finally stop I spoke," So how's your new footrest? Is it comfortable?" I teased her on her sleeping position.
"Yeah, yeah. Shush." She silenced me before cradling her pillow and quickly falling asleep.
"It's not like we have to leave in the next hour or anything."
