We both entered the museum, side by side. The awkward silence still hovering over us.

The museum was blasting of like a rainbow bursting with colours. Vibrancy clutching from every corner. Colours contrasted and mixed to form beautiful painting and sculptures by some of the world's most famous artists.

I looked in owe at the delightfulness in front of me. Hunter's eyes glaced around, absorbing everything it made contact with.

Focus, swept against her face when we walked by the painting's. She bit the inside of her cheeks, curiosity filling her eyes.

"The artist showed signs of frustration and depression in this one." She mumbled, tilting her head to the side. She's more of an artist than I am. She loves museums especially art ones.

"Where are you seeing frustration? I'm only seeing depression." I said to her. Her head tilted slowly as her eyes were forced to detach from the art in front her.

"Come." She said, pulling my head close to her before I can move. Our heads were touching at the sides at this point," You see those lines there and how they are formed?" She pointed questioningly.

"Oh I see it now." I whispered in realization of the artwork, my face easing. I heard a giggle slipped from her, pelting it towards my direction.

I looked at her now grinning face, my eyebrows furrowing in confusion," What?" I asked.

"Your killing me right now, stop." She blurted out, laughing.

"What did I do?" Confusion spilling from my voice, she laughed even louder. People started to stare at us and whispering. I clasp my hands over her mouth," Shhh... you're making a scene."

Her voice vibrated through my hands. I turned around slightly," Sorry, you can go back to admiring the artwork now. Unfortunately she can't be trained." I apologized before turning back to Hunter. I rolled my eyes at the amount of people now watching us. It's like we're in a library or something and they never heard anyone speak before now.

Hunter giggled even more before I felt a warm liquid slowly passed on my palm," Ew...Hunter!" I whisper-yelled at her, removing my hand from over her mouth to wipe it on my jeans.

She started to laugh but this time quietly," Okay now I'm done." She babbled, a smile lining her lips.

I rolled my eyes at her childish behavior. I walked on towards the other canvas that were nailed to the wall. My eyes fell into a trance with my favorite painting of all time. The starry night.

It's colours filled me with admiration. Hunter on the other hand went onto the sculptures, that's her favorite. Awe spelt on her face when she saw them. It was like looking at a toddler getting candy.

My trance broke when someone stepped besides me. My shoulders tensed, squaring. My eyes fell on the one person I wasn't expecting to see.
I didn't even expect him to be at a museum.

David stood besides me, he looked taken aback with the painting. I didn't want to get in the devil's way. I took it as my chance to go by Hunter, who was at the other exhibition.

I turned around walking off as fast as I can. Hurting the fool wasn't on my to-do list today.

"I know it's you Kaleb." He said but I refused to turn back instead I walked towards Hunter.

"What's wrong?" She asked, worry blaring from her facial expression. I nodded to my right wear David stood, watching me intently.

Hunter gasped," What's that buffalo doing here?" She questioned. I wanted to laugh but hatred clouded my mind, my stomach burned with anger.

"Hey Hunter!" He yelled from across the room. Hunter's posture tensed, her hands clutched against her sides.

"I'll have to kick his butt if he gets closer." She whispered for only me to hear, grinding her teeth.

He started to walk closer to us. My fist balled up at my sides, ready to punch him if he lay a hand on Hunter.

A smirk formed its way up to his lips, crawling from his neck. Scares were visible on his arms and face. His knuckles were red as blood.

A glint appeared in his eyes when he saw Hunter's hands curled up.

His attention turned on Hunter, heading towards her directly.

My reflex got the better of me and I pulled myself in front of Hunter, protecting her from the demon.

"Don't you dare touch her." I hissed at him, practically spitting in his face.

"Or what?" He growled like a lion defending it's prey from others.

My eyes covered over with anger piercing holes through his. Anger blared up from inside of him as well.

What in the world is this guy's problem?

He came around me as I watched his every moved. He pulled Hunter from behind but since she's trained to fight back, she lashes out. Hunter spun around, fist balled and slamming against David's jaw. He lost his grip on her shirt, falling to the ground clutching onto the spot where got the blow.

I pulled Hunter behind me before she could do anything else. I instead went up to David and punched him, hard, in his stomach. He flew up like a wave before going back down, lying on the ground as he groaned in pain.

"I told you to don't f***ing touch her." I barked at him. Fury paced through my blood wanting to do more than just punching him but Hunter's hand wrapped around mine," Let's just go." She whispered.

I nodded and proceeded to go back to the parking lot with Hunter right by my side.

Who the hell he think he is?

We drove back in a peaceful silence bout of us letting out the steam we endured.

My phone vibrated as soon as I stopped at a red light. Whoa, good timing.

Toby:~
Bring her to the park.

Kaleb:~
Okay. Give me five.

I texted him back before slipping my phone back into my pocket.

The park was less than five minutes away. Instead of taking a right turn to our apartment, I took a left.

A saddened feeling, pulsed through me. I felt like someone had shot me in the heart. My hands became clammy as I saw the entrance of the park.

" Um Kaleb. Why are going to the park?" She asked desirable. I let out a sigh before I answered her," wait."

I stopped outside the park before we both headed in. Candle lights were lit on both sides of the pathway. The nerves were killing me.

It had arrows drawn on the ground, pointing at the direction she had to follow. She looked back at me when she saw it. Her eyes lit up with excitement.

"It's not me." I murmured, raising my hands in the air. A frown made it's way on her face but she quickly covered it over with a smile as she started walking.

The candles and arrows led us to the middle of the park. There were balloons tied on two chairs that sat on opposite end of a small table that had a small bouquet on top of the white table cloth that was laid over the table.

Toby was standing in front of the table. Lights streamed down from two trees. Toby held up a sign that said ' will you be my girlfriend?'

I felt like someone jabbed out my heart and stabbed every part of my body.

A gasp escaped from Hunter, she covered her mouth with her hands. She was definitely surprised.

"Will you?" Toby asked coming closer towards her. I didn't feel like watching anymore. Pain ached every part of my body. It was unbearable.
