Before you

I remember my innocence
I remember my love for myself

You made me forget my goals
You made me lower my standards
I hated you for it
You took my virginity
You stole my freedom
You robbed me of my happiness
I hated you for it
I refuse to let you decide my future
I refuse to love you
I refuse to change anything else for you
Because I am better than that
I refuse to alter myself for you
I refuse to care how you feel about me
I refuse to hope you'll come back to me
Because I'm better than that
I will move past what you did to me
I will forget how depressed you made me
I will get over how you belittled me
And I will forgive you
I will learn to love myself again
I will beat my depression and anxiety
