"Hi, Holly. My name is Ms. Annabelle. I will be your 'mom' til' you get a family. Now come with me, and I'll show you around."
Ms. Annabelle walks into the building, and I scamper in behind her. There are all these kids looking at me, wondering who I am. "This place is kinda scary," I mumble to myself.
"Ok, Holly, this is your new room. Girls introduce yourselves."
The first girl to introduce herself had blue eyes with longish brown hair. "Hi, my name is Brinley and I'm four," the girl says.
The next girl has green eyes and blonde hair. "Hi, my name is Edith," the girl says. She looks a lot older than me.
"Girls, Holly will live with you until the time comes," Ms. Annabelle tells them.
I hop onto the empty bed, looking at the wall beside me. "Life is rough," I mumble underneath my breath. "Hey, Holly? Do you wanna go play on the playground?" Brinley asks me.
"Sure," I shyly reply.
We head outside and run to the playground. "This might be fun," I tell myself
