When I awoke Keecho wasn't there, but I heard someone cooking in the kitchen. I followed the sound and found Meza cooking very sweet-looking pancakes.

"Sleep well?" She asked not looking at me.

"Yeah, why?" I asked taking a seat.

"You fell asleep on the couch, so you might have a sore spot." She flipped the pancakes.

"Where's Annie?" I asked after getting my plate and covering them in syrup.

"She's asleep, finally." Meza said putting her plate down and cutting off a piece and shoving it in her mouth.

"Why what happened?" I asked barely through my first pancake.

"She kept tossing and turning, then when she finally did drift of to sleep she would wake up screaming." Meza explained already done with her plate.

"Oh..." I said not wanting to push the topic.

We finished breakfast, Meza finishing faster than me, and both went our separate ways. I was really bored, I hung off Keecho's bed and felt all the blood rush to my head and ears. Then I roamed around the house, but I got lost so I sat there and thought about the turns I made and how to get back. I got myself more lost, so I did the only thing I could think of to do in this situation.

"Help!" I screamed.

"Wha-what happened? Are you alright?" Annie said, a little louder than her usual whisper, popping her head out of the closest room. She had red eyes and messy hair.

"Um, well, sort of. I got myself lost and I need help finding my way back." I said embarrassed as I rubbed the back on my neck.

"Want to come back to my room?" She asked, opening the door wider for me.

"Yeah, sure." I said, walking in. I saw a cat scratching post, I only thought it was weird until I saw Teachi walk out of the little cave at the top. "Oh hey Teachi! So this is where you've been."

"You two know each other?" She asked quietly, throwing away all the used tissues all around the room.

"Yeah, I let him into the house." I said sitting down on the floor and letting Teachi crawl into my lap.

"Ah, nice..." She mumbled trailing off. Then we sat in a awkward silence until I spoke up.

"Um... well... I don't know if you want to talk about this, but-" I started, but her phone cut me off. She answered.

"Hello?" She said into the phone, I strained my ears to hear the person on the other line, but it was a lot of muffled noises, "Meza!" She instantly lit up, "Oh..." Her face fell, "Okay, well then see you later."

"What happened?"

"Meza just called to tell me she was going to be late tonight, things didn't go as planned."

"Oh..." More silence, "Well could you show me back to the living room?" She nodded. "Thanks." We walked back in even more silence.

"Here you go, when I first got here I was confused too, but I eventually got it." She left and I curled up in front of the door and top a little cat nap.

"Silly kitty, what if I stepped on you?" I heard break through my dreams.

"Hm." I hummed half asleep.

"But you would like that wouldn't you?" The voice asked again, then I felt an expensive shoe touch my cheek. I opened my eyes, looked up, and saw Keecho poking my cheek with his foot. "Since you want to be at my feet so much, lick." He commanded.

I sat up, then leaned down and started to lick. I looked up and he pushed my head back down, "Keep going, it's not clean yet." I was licking around the toe when he shoved hos foot in my mouth. I whimpered, but kept licking  not wanting to disappoint him. He slowly started moving his foot in and out of my mouth, as I started to drool. "Come on, lets something to eat."

I stood and wiped the spit off my chin, as I followed him into the kitchen. He made us some dinner, we sat and no sound, but the sound of chewing.

"Keecho?" I asked sheepishly.

"Yes?"

"Could you read more of that book?" I asked quietly, looking down at the table.

"Sure, but if you wanted to read more, why didn't you read during the day?" He had finished his plate and picked mine up, putting it in the sink.

"Um... because I can't." I whispered.

"Oh, yeah, I was planning on teaching you. Now I remember." He sighed, "Until then, I'll read to you."

"Thanks." I said, still looking down at the table. I followed him to his room and he pulled out the book, then sat down on the bed and patted the spot next to him. I gladly ran over and snuggled into him. He opened the book to the next page.

"Day 4, my child was born today. I haven't given her a name yet and as soon as I get out of the hospital I will go back to work. I'm thinking that I should use my baby as the next test subject" Keecho stopped to take a breath, "Day 5, the nurses finally let me out and now I'm back in my lab. I am not going to try exploding myself, until I have a good partner to help if something goes wrong. My baby is perfectly healthy, I am planning on injecting her with the seed after 2 or 3 weeks. I don't want her to die that quickly."

"She's sick." I spat.

"Definitely." Meza said from the doorway, I jumped and buried myself into him. When I looked back over at her she was just in a towel, her neon green hair darker than usual.

"Done?" Keecho asked in a serous tone.

"Yes sir, General Kee!" She exclaimed, saluting and letting her towel slip a bit. I hid back in Keecho.

"Want more?" He asked, I peeked my head out, shook it as a no, then snuggled into him.

"I don't want more." I mumbled into his chest.

"Okay, sleep then?"

"That sounds good." I closed my eyes, then felt him shift a bit, then lay down with me still cuddling up to him.
