When I woke Keecho was still there and I breathed out a sigh of relief, I was worried that when I woke he would be gone like usual.

"Good morning." Keecho greeted me, smiling.

"Yeah, you?" I asked, blushing a little.

"Yep, did you know you were talking in your sleep?" His smile was real, you could see it in his eyes.

"What!? Really? What did I say?" I asked, now really bashful for disturbing his sleep.

"It was a lot of moaning, then my name a couple of time, oh and who's Steve?"

"What?! Is that really what I said. I don't know any Steves." I asked panicking a little, as I wondered if I really did all that. He chucked a little.

"No, you didn't- I wish you did though, it sounded like you were have a nightmare. You kept saying-"

"It's gone!" Meza yelled as she burst through the door, interrupting Keecho.

"What's gone," Keecho said, "and don't say your hair dryer." I giggled, but Meza's expression didn't change.

"The notebook."

"What?!" Keecho exclaimed, scrambling out of bed and trying to get into his clothes. I got out of bed and helped him, then went to my room to find my own. I was almost done getting dressed, and was pulling on my socks when Meza ran into the room.

"Come on Annie's missing too!" And with that she pulled me out of my room, I kept stumbling and tripping as she pulled me.

"B-but my shoes!" I exclaimed.

"Fine. Put them on in the car." Meza reached down scoped up my shoes, then me and ran down the stairs the fastest I've ever seen someone go, she almost flew as fast as she was going. She ran out the door, everyone we passed was a blur and they didn't seem to notice us, I heard someone say, "Did you feel a breeze?" She through me in the car, got in herself, then slammed the door and yelled to the driver to drive to the docs.

We arrived and saw Annie on the edge of a pier with her arms raised above her head. We all got out of the car and stood there in shock as her arm started moving, but before she could release what was in her hands a dark hand grabbed her wrist and pulled her arms down. Annie swarmed and wiggled but she couldn't get lose. Meza lunged forward, but Keecho grabbed her and pulled her behind a car I followed and we watched through the car's windows.

I could hear them, but only faintly. I was grateful that I was a neko then.

"Ah, we've been looking for ya." The dark figure said, "Your mother's been so worried about you."

"Well my mother can go fuck herself, now leave me alone." Annie spat, it was the only time I had heard her angry or cuss at all.

"That's no way to talk about your loving and caring mother." He said pulling her around to face him.

"Do we know the same person?" She asked, trying to pull away again, but failing.

"Come on ya'll family's waitin' for you." He said pulling her closer. "Or maybe even my bed."

"Disgusting pervert!" She said and literally spat at him. Not the smartest move on her part, probably because it landed right on his suit.

"You bitch! Now you've done it!" He pulled a gun on her and out of the corner of my eye I saw Keecho grab Meza and hold her down.

"Let go!" Meza angerly whispered.

"No, do you want her to get shot?" Keecho asked, surprisingly calm.

"I'm faster then that cheap hunk of metal." She defended.

"Not at that close of a range, though you could probably catch it when it comes out the other side then have it as a keep-sake. Just let her go she's strong and smart." Keecho persuaded, calmly. I watched as she calmed down and settled back down, Keecho released her and I looked back to the two. While I was watching the other two, they moved towards a dark van. I watched the door slide open and her being pushed inside.

"What's that?" Someone inside the van asked as other people bound Annie in place.

"It's Mother-Dearest's notebook. She said Annie might have it though she doesn't need it." The first goon said.

"Then just leave it, she would be the wiser."

"You know what? Ya'll finally had a good idea. See ya!" And with that he tossed the notebook next to the car, got in, and they peeled off leaving dust in their wake.

"Son of a bitch!" Meza yelled and kicked a steel oil drum, it flew so far away I didn't see where it landed. "How could we let them have her, Kee?" Meza sounded like she was going to cry and commit genocide all at the same time, and over all unstable. Keecho just walked over and picked up the notebook the goons left.

"We didn't let them have her, we just made the smartest choice. She would have died if we ran in there guns blazing." Keecho explained calmly, though I could tell he was almost as distraught as Meza was, but he needed to stay calm for her.

"Yeah, you're probably right..." Meza said sounding defeated as she slumped down on the cold concrete.

"But..." Keecho started, "this book could help us find her, want to play detective with me one more time?"

"Yeah, that sounds good." Meza stood up and gave us her best smile that she could muster at the moment, it looked forced but I loved that she tried and I could tell that Keecho appreciated it too.

Feeling useless, I voiced up, "Then let's- let's get to work." And gave my best smile, I hadn't known Annie as long or as well as those two but I loved her like a sister and I was ready to try my best to get her back.

A/N: Sorry for not updating, I kind of go into a writing hibernation during winter. Probably because it's cold and I don't want to pull my laptop out, but enough about me, ENJOY!
