Once we were all in the car, Keecho, Darer, Narion, Meza, and I, we drove to a night club that was currently closed. Meza knocked out a small rhythm in the metal door, it opened and we were welcomed into one of the clubs private rooms. All the walls were covered in red satin, I soon realized that it was not one of the private rooms, it was the owner's office. A blonde was sitting at a desk in up against one of the walls, the chair looked more like a throne than a normal chair. It had extravagant silver framework and blood red cushions.
"Yo, what's up sis?" Meza asked, starring at the back of her head. I processed the sentence and felt utterly confused, 'Sis? She's Meza's sister?' I thought.
"Business is up, as usual, but you didn't come here to talk about my business did you?" The blonde asked, still writing on her paper and not turning to us. "Please take a seat." We all took seat in one of her many chairs around the room, except Meza, she remained standing.
"We need info." Meza said she was still very serous.
"Well, no shit. Information about what matter?" She asked, turning back to look at Meza. She was quite pretty, dark eye shadow, long lashes, and full sculpted eyebrows.
"Forbidden Fruit."
"Sure, but it isn't free." She said, resting her arm over the back and resting. Narion silently got up, she watched him walk up to her desk and set down the case he had been holding. He stood behind her chair and waited for her to open it. She popped up the latches and the top flipped up. Inside it was stuffed to the brim with wads of cash, she turned around in her chair and gave us a look of 'Seriously?'
"No, that's not all we have, that's just what we could stuff in there." Meza said, rolling her eyes like that amount of money was nothing. "I'm not broke anymore Victoria."
She stood and showed us to a both with comfy seats. She was wearing a small, red dress, the back of which was covered in straps, and black stilettos.
"Started about a year ago, gained followers fast, but stayed in the shadows." Victoria explained.
"Got anything we don't know?" Darer asked. She rolled her eyes at him and went on.
"They're more of a cult ruled gang, than a fear ruled gang, unlike White Snake or Crimson Flower. They believe if they follow every word their leader says they will be about to get their 72 virgins when they die, or something along those lines." Victoria gestured someone over and shortly after a dark haired girl in a dark blue Chinese stripper dress, she was carrying a tray of alcoholic drinks. Victoria took one, so did Darer, Keecho and Meza, Narion and I turned her down.
"Do you have any information on the leader?" Keecho asked, taking a sip of his drink.
"I don't have much, but right now not many people do." Victoria was already done with her drink, it was one of those sugary ones I like.
"Do ya have anything or not?" Meza asked sternly.
"I have a time and place." Victoria said pulling another drink off the tray the black haired girl walked back with.
"We'll take it." Darer said, then gestured to the girl to hand him one more. Victoria whispered something along the lines of 'Go get the slip,' to the girl, the girl then walked off and quickly returned with a black envelope that had a red wax seal keeping it closed. Keecho picked it and we left for the car, no one talked until we got back to the house.
"Anyone going to open it?" Darer asked. Keecho pulled it out, sliced open the top with a knife, then pulled the red piece of paper out. He unfolded it.
It read, 'In two days, 12:30pm, Port 7 East.'
"How do we know we can trust this?" Narion piped up.
"If she's lying, I will kill her myself." Meza said.
"But she's you sister..." I mumbled.
"Out of probably a hundred, Mommy dearest was a huge slut. I wouldn't be surprised if one of you were my brother." Meza explained, "I never knew most of them, but out of the ones I do know Victoria's my least favorite."
I nodded,Darer told us that he had stuff to do and walked out the door, Narion said a quick good bye to me than followed after Darer.
It was the evening by now, I walked over to the window to watch the sun set. Keecho walked up next to me and put an arm around my waist, I leaned into him.
"Port 7..." I mumbled thinking about it. We stayed like that until the sun disappeared behind the buildings, then Keecho walked into the kitchen and started to cook dinner. He set down two plates full of food and we ate in silence, it wasn't an awkward silence it was comfortable and peaceful.
"What's on your mind?" Keecho asked as I brought our plates to the sink, I had finished one plate before I could put my thoughts in to, decently cohesive sentences.
"What..." I paused trying to find words for my brain seemed to forget all the ones I knew. Keecho, though, seemed like he would wait forever for my answer-it made my heart flutter. "What are they going to do at Port 7?"
"Well..." Keecho paused, "Are you sure you want to hear this?" He asked, his face and voice soft. I was shocked for a second, then slowly nodded. "In Port 7, they trade cargo."
"W-what kind of cargo?" I asked getting a little freaked out.
"The human kind." Meza said walking in.
