Lost Kitten [Completed]

Power

Victoria didn't even bat an eye at the change of power. 

"Oh, good to see someone respectable as the head." She said calmly. I opened my mouth to shout at her but Meza didn't need words. Before one could blink she had slammed Victoria down on the bar with a hand around her neck.

"The fuck are you talking about, you ungrateful bitch." She growled. The men in suits, that stood around the room started to reach into their jackets. Victoria held up a hand and they stopped.

"Just the word going around. They say he was letting unworthy street cats have the nice positions, while the people who deserved it got nothing. That doesn't seem too respectable, now does it?" She asked just as calmly as she did when there wasn't a hand around her throat. Meza's grip tightened and Victoria gasped, pulling her legs together, her checks flush.

"And who first let that word slip?" Meza asked. Her eyes glowing and her hand closing more. Victoria moaned softly.

"I don't know anyone." Victoria smiled.

"Liar. Do you not see the position you're in?" Meza snarled.

"Yeah, it's making me horny." She licked her lips. Meza's grip kept getting tighter and tighter. Victoria's face was getting red and her breath came out in little sharp gasps.

"Meza..." Annie mumbled, Meza's face snapping towards hers. We both jumped and I fell off my chair. Then scurrying back away from the madness. 

"The fuck do you want?" Meza asked.

"Killing her won't do any good... There will always be another." Annie said softly getting up. Meza took a look around the room before releasing Victoria. Victoria gasped and rubbed her neck.

"Lets go." Meza said. Then turned and stormed out of the room, Annie quickly ran behind. I was frozen as I watched Victoria stand up straight, her bottoms a darker shade. She turned to me and I jumped up and ran to the car as fast as I could. 

I got into the car and just as I sat down Meza sped off. She sped farther into the city, the sun warming the night colors as it rose. She stopped at a tall building got up and we followed, she tossed her keys to the man at a little table. He caught them and walked to the driver's side. We got odd stares as we walked into the building, everyone else was in nice suits and dresses and we were in blood soaked clothes. 

The woman up front didn't care, she acted like this was a normal occurrence. Maybe it was.

"Right this way." She got up and showed us to the elevators, they were shiny gold. We got in the farthest one and rode up to the top. The lady held the doors as we all got out. We were in a hall that abruptly turned right. "The door at the end of the hall." 

We followed her instructions as the elevator doors closed. There was only one door in the surprisingly short hall. Meza put in a code in the little pad next to the door. 

"Put all your clothes in here." Meza said gesturing to a woven basket. She started stripping her self as she did she put all her clothes in the basket. Her back was turned to us and all she was wearing was layers of bruises on bruises and her bright green 'W' with the two 's's on top and bottom. The sign of White Snake, she walked farther into the house as Annie striped. All her scars exposed to the warm air of the room. She had White Snake's symbol tattooed in white on her foot. I reached over my shoulder and touched mine. 

"Annie~" Meza sang and Annie walked to her. She was in the hall. "Come bathe with me." She said snuggling into her shoulder and I looked away missing Keecho. 

Slowly I pulled the sticky clothes from my body and put them in the basket. I wandered down the hall, Meza popped her head out of the door next to me. "The two doors down from here is Kee's bed, it has a bath. Go ahead and take some of his clothes." Then she went back inside the room and I heard the water turn on. 

Inside Keecho's room was a large bed, a closet, and an another door. I walked over the other door, inside it was almost all white. I blinked and took it all in. Then turned on the water and added in a soap that smelled sweet. It foamed and bubbled, creating a frothy top. I hissed as I slipped into the water. Cuts that I didn't know I had, stung and burned as the hot water touched them.

I didn't remember when I got in or how long I had been soaking. But I loved the feeling, it was so relaxing and comforting, like a hug. The water had gotten cold long ago, but I refused to get out. I closed my eyes and slipped into a dreamless sleep. 

I woke up in the bed, as I was about to curl farther into it my stomach alerted me that I hadn't eaten in awhile. I got up, the oversized shirt I had been put in fell off my shoulder as I walked into the hall. Meza was on the phone in one of the rooms, the door was open and I peeked inside.

"No. I'm in charge now, Darer." Meza said into the phone. She looked pissed. "So don't even think about spreading rumors about White Snake... Fine, good ones yes, bad ones no. 'Kay?"

I walked away, down the hall. At the end was a living room that lead into the kitchen. I walked in and scrounged through the pantry. Finding many tasty things, but I ended up just eating some fruit. 

I was happily eating away when there was a knock at the door. Meza walked out of her room and over to the door. She answered it and talked a little with the person at the door. It sounded like mumbling to me then she stepped aside and let him in. He took a seat on one of the couches as Meza brought over some coffee.

"You said you had something to discuss, what is it Zachariah?"

A/N: Thanks for reading! The rest of the book will be as dark or darker as these last few chapters. With that in mind, be cautious if you have a weak stomach for that kind of thing. Lastly remember that the characteristics my characters have are based off real interests that some people have, so you don't need to comment 'wtf', 'wtf, ur sick am sorry but its the truth', or the like.
