The next morning was kind of crazy, early in the morning Meza had run into our room dressed in her night clothes and looking half asleep. We both looked up when we heard the back of the door crash against the wall. It surprised me and I jumped.

"Darer's down stairs and he says he has to talk with you!" She breathed, it looked like she had been running up and down the stairs all morning.

"Yeah, sure, send him up." Keecho said sleepily, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. His muscular chest exposed to the cold air. I shivered and sunk back into the bed, hiding my face.

"You got it Kee!" She yelled and ran back out.

"What happened?! Did I miss something?!" Annie said popping her head into our room, I looked back up.

"No, sorry. Did we worry you?" Keecho asked.

"A-a little. I-I think I'm going to go back to..." She yawned and blinked sleepily, "Oh... One last thing..." She yawned again and ruffled her hair, "what time is it?"

"About two in the morning." Keecho said looking over at the clock. She gave a sleepy thumbs up then walked out. I snuggled back down into the bed, trying to go back to sleep. I felt a hand in my hair, scratching behind my ears. I purred and started drifting into a peaceful sleep.

I was half conscious when there was a knock on the door and a quiet 'Come in.' from Keecho.

"Good morning." I faintly heard Darer say.

"It must be important for you to come to my house." Keecho said seriously.

"We have a common enemy right now, so I thought it would be best to work together until the problem is resolved." Darer said in his normal, calm voice.

"What did you do this time?" Keecho asked, I heard Darer walk into the room his footsteps very light, though he wasn't the only one entering the room. I heard another set of steps, I knew it wasn't Meza or Annie- they had very distinct footsteps- though I knew I had heard them before.

"My good man, why do you always think it's my fault?" Darer joked.

"Because, more times than not, it has been of your doing." Keecho said his voice unchanging.

"That's besides the point. Have you heard of Forbidden Fruit?"

"Yes. Have they become a problem?"

"Definitely, Narion show him the charts."  I looked up and saw Narion quietly walk over hand Keecho the papers and walk back behind Darer. Darer's long pink hair was in a tight bun behind his head and was in a form-fitting black suit, Narion was in a suit too, his black hair and vibrant eyes hadn't changed. He was holding a leather suitcase in one hand and a folder in another.

"They are almost as powerful as Crimson Flower. When did they start?" Keecho asked, handing Narion the charts. Narion put them back in the folder then put the folder back in the suitcase.

"A little over a year ago." Darer said walking over to the bed. He started to reach his hand across the bed when Keecho stopped him. I could feel Keecho's glare at Darer.

"Don't."

"I was just going to pet the cat, nothing bad." Darer said retracting his hand and stepping back. "Anyway, they're taking over trade routes, stealing shipments, and destroying property."

"Meza." Keecho said. A half dressed Meza ran into the room.

"What do you need Kee?" She said standing up straight.

"Why is this the first time I am hearing of this?" Keecho asked gesturing to the suitcase in Narion's hands.

"It's the first I'm hearing 'bout it, too. I'll go get answers." She ran back out of the room.

"What do you need from us?" Keecho asked getting up and walking over to his closet. He was just in his boxers.

"I need White Snake's help taking them down." Darer said, unfazed by Keecho's lack of clothing.

"Are you just going to have White Snake do everything or is Crimson Flower going to help?" Keecho asked getting on a suit.

"Why do you ask that? Of course we are going to be equal partners in crime." Darer said, then turned and whispered to Narion. I'm pretty sure Keecho couldn't hear him and if I was normal then I wouldn't have been able to either, Darer's voice was so quiet I could barely hear it. He told Narion to, "Get the cat dressed and get him out of here. I have something to tell Keecho in private."

Narion walked up to me with a smile, "Can I help you with anything?"

"Um..." I mumbled then looked over to Keecho, he gave me a small nod telling me that it was all right and he would be fine. "F-food?" I asked tentatively.

"Coming right up. Would you please show me the kitchen?"

I nodded and sat up in bed. Before I got out of it, I felt cloth hit me. I inspected it and realized that it was a shirt and boxers, in my size. I put them on and showed Narion to the kitchen, he was quite a bit taller than me.

"What would you like?" He asked once we got to the kitchen. I shrugged and walked over to the sink to grab myself a glass of water. He got to work while I sat down at the table and rested my head on top of it. Before I knew it I smelled something really sweet cooking and my mouth started to water. He sat down at the table across from me, I looked up at him.

"Just between you and me..." Narion started to say in a quiet tone, "Darer's a really nice guy."

I scoffed, recalling what he had done to me.  "He doesn't seem nice." I mumbled.

"He was mean to you, because he was angry at Keecho and he want revenge- in a way." Narion explained, I kind-of understood because I had seen Keecho and Meza angry. When they were angry they were the meanest people you would ever meet, but when they weren't angry they were really nice.

"I-t-that makes sense." I stuttered, "I-th- but I don't think I forgive him."

"That's okay, it wasn't meant for you to forgive him. I just wanted you to see that he isn't always like that." We stayed in silence until a timer went off and Narion pulled a small cake out of the oven.

"That smells wonderful." Darer said walking out with Keecho.

"Thanks." Narion said, setting it down.

"Everything is set, so get out of my house." Keecho said pointing at the door.

"Looks like we've over stayed our invitation. Let's go Narion." Darer said walking off, Narion followed him and when Keecho had turned around to inspect the cake, Narion turned back around to me and tapped his head. It looked like he was saying, 'Think about what I said.' I nodded and they left.

I walked over to Keecho and hugged him, "Sleep?" I asked.

"You can, I think I am going to stay up." His voice the same cold tone he used when he was talking to Darer.

"I'll stay up with you then." I piped up. He nodded.

"You should go get dressed for the day then." He said, I agreed then ran off to my room to get street clothes.
