I blinked not even realizing what had happened, then something in my mind clicked and I ran over to the edge of the boat, looking over all I saw was the white of the waves as the boat rocked.

"Keecho!" I screamed out in to the waves, the commotion drowning me out. The banging of bullets quieted down and the rocking calmed slowed, while tears streamed down my face, I slumped to the floor and hid in my knees. When everything was silent, I heard Meza walk over and put a hand on my shoulder. I looked up at her, my eyesight blurry with tears, as she reached down and picked me up.

She carried me to the captain's quarters, the only place with no bodies or blood. She comforted me as we sat there, gently rocking with the boat. Darer walked in and took a seat across from us. Through my sobs I heard Darer pour a drink.

"So, what's the word?" He asked and I just sobbed harder. I heard a loud 'shhhh!' from Meza as I calmed down just enough to speak.

I wiped my nose and choked back another lump in my thought threatening to escape into another fit of hysterics. "H-he f-fell." I manged. "I-inta the w-wada." My speech falling back into street slang. "G-gone now."

"Let's go back to shore." Meza said and I heard footsteps come closer than leave again. I sobbed louder again, and she held me tighter. I felt the boat start to move again, but the tears didn't stop.

I ended up blacking out, because the next thing I remember is waking up in Keecho's bed. Recognizing the familiar sent, I cuddled farther into the bed.

I jumped as I heard loud crashes and shouting coming from outside the room. As I was getting up to investigate, Meza slammed open the door.

"Oh, good..." She panted, she had blood on her face and clothes and a split lip. "You're up...." Her horns and tail were out.

A man in black came charging up behind her and, without looking, she flicked her tail and the man's head hit the floor. I flinched, but didn't look away.

"W-what's goin' on?" I asked, getting out of the bed and taking a step closer to her.

"We're...under fire..." She said killing a few more men in the process, with me flinching in the background. "You need to get somewhere safe, come on." She waved her hand gesturing to follow her.

I still had on the same clothes from yesterday. Annie joined us as we wove through the penthouse, now splattered with blood and dead bodies. I wanted to look away, or to close my eyes altogether, but I was intrigued by the gore. I saw it differently, it wasn't gross, but oddly beautiful.

Pulling myself away I caught up with Meza and Annie, not even realizing I had fallen behind. We made it to the door, putting on my blood spattered shoes.

Meza hadn't killed many more people, only the few stragglers. We got to the stairs, Meza throwing both of us over her shoulders as she sped down the stairs.

We got to the lobby in record time, only to find everyone in there was either dead or dying. We didn't stop though, just kept flying by and out the doors. When we got to a fancy red car, Meza set us down and got in the front. We quickly got in the back.

Once the doors closed Meza sped out of there, with a horrible screech and the smell of burning rubber.

"What the hell was that!" Annie yelled. She looked stressed.

"That was what happens when people talk about White Snake losing it's head and being weak. Then all shit goes to hell." Meza said, driving like a madman. Cutting in front of people and weaving in and out of lanes.

"Where the fuck are we going?!" Annie said gripping the hand rails like her life depended on it.

"Back to my darling sister."

We arrived with a screech barely audible over the pounding music coming from the club. Meza stormed out of the car, slamming the door behind her. We quickly followed. The doorman held out his arm for us to stop, but she easily broke it. He screamed and crumpled to the floor, everyone in line stared at us, but Meza kept walking. Annie soon followed and I ran after her.

Meza walked to the middle of the dance floor and fired a shot into the air. Everyone froze and the music slowly faded, waiting for Meza to make her next move. With her gun in her hand, still in the air, she shouted.

"Victoria! Get your dead ass down here!" Men in black suits then started showing everyone out. you could hear a pin drop in the room. With all the people gone and most of the lights turned back on we could see a long stair case up to, what looked like, an office. The same blonde that had told us about Forbidden Fruit appeared at the top in knee-high black leather boots, black lace lingerie and a black corset.

"Hello sister." She said than turned back into her office and said something. It sound like mumbling from where I was standing. "What brings you here?" She asked in a sickeningly sweet tone. She turned aside as a woman in a short blue cocktail dress walked out carrying her shoes. She stopped at Victoria whispered something to her, pecked her cheek, than left down the stairs and out the door.

"Oh, nothing. Just that you spread the rumor that White Snake was weak." She said in the same sweet tone. I shivered and longed for Keecho to hide behind. She gasped and put a hand to her chest, like she was hurt.

"My darling sister, why would you accuse me of betraying you like that? Have I ever been anything less than loving?" I couldn't quite see her eyes but her face said she was hurt.

"Come down here, and lets discuss that over a drink." Meza said her tone and voice never wavering. Her face said she was tender and loving but her eyes. If looks could kill.

"Oh, good looks like you need one." Victoria said with a small giggle as her heels clanked loudly on the metal steps.

"Oh, I most certainly do." Meza said giggling too. They walked over to the bar sitting down next to each other.

"Would your friends like anything?" Victoria asked smiling at us, her eyes gleaming like this was the most fun thing she had done. We both shook our heads, "Okay, you can take a seat too." She gestured to the seats next to Meza. We took them, with Annie being next to Meza and me next to Annie.

The bartender made something sugary for Victoria and Meza got straight bourbon.

Victoria cut straight to the point and asked, "Since Keecho's dead, who should I say is the head of White Snake?"

Without hesitation, Meza replied, "Me."
